Yet Another QB Ranking - But This One Shocked Me Twice

Wilson beat Peyton Manning in a SB during an MVP season for Manning in which he broke several NFL passing records. He also beat Drew Brees in the playoffs in 2013 and he beat Aaron Rodgers in the playoffs last season during an MVP season for Rodgers. Wilson came within one play of beating Brady in a SB. Wilson has also beaten a couple of the other young guns in Kap and Newton in the playoffs so it's easy to see why he's on these lists. It's to the point with Romo that everyone knows what to expect with him a very good statistical season but little to no playoff success. Although Romo has had opportunities he hasn't beaten any of the big guns in playoff/elimination games. It's getting down to now or never for Romo his game will decline at some point.

That's not the assertion I made in my post. At all. But you knew that.

But you're apparently one of those people who thinks a team wins and loses solely on the play of its quarterback.

Those people wrap themselves in the false assurance of football acumen.

You lumped me in with a group of people I don't agree with. I most definitely don't think a team wins or loses solely on the play of its QB that's ridiculous! You're one of those who either can't comprehend or have an agenda. Anyone who follows football knows the QB receives a lot of the glory for wins and some of the blame for losses which is why the NFL credits QB's with a W/L record.

In the National Football League the quarterback is the only position player to be credited with a record of wins and losses as a starter. A player is credited with a win or loss if he started the game and the team won or lost that game even if the player was injured or failed to complete the game.

Oh...if wikipedia says it, it must be true. Learn to think on your own instead of the media or some random internet site! Unbelievable....better yet, learn the game, or even better, tell us what football, baseball, basketball, etc., teams you have been on. Don't mention your tennis or golf team.

He does not hate Romo, we Cowboy FANS just have an agenda of some sort.

He talks about SB's being the measuring stick of a QB, yet he places Luck and some others above Romo. Then there is his fascination towards Eli...!

Eli would have been out of the league by now if he played on the teams that Romo has been on. So, consider the source...I guess.

So he attempts to establish the basis of a "fact." The supposed "fact" is the sport aligns glory and blame to wins and losses. However, his next step is to corroborate the "fact" by including a quoted source, which states:

Yet, nowhere does the quoted source state glory and blame is equivalent to wins and losses.

KJJ has such a way with words that I would guess he might be a lawyer but that assertion would be insulting to the profession, I think.

you look at his posts on anything to do with Romo and of course he is a hater. Not in the class of ufcrules(absolutely the GOAT Romo hater and proud of it) but he is in the next tier. Top 5 certainly.
