We are talking about 1 play
Try to understand before posting
I do understand that there are 60 minutes in a game. And one or two plays only didn’t determine the outcome. The cowboys shouldn’t even have been in those situations.

I am an admitted Jerry Hater. I blame him first and foremost. I blame the coaching over Dak, because they're puppets and don't provide the team with any kind of leadership. But that goes back to Jerry. But if you have puppet coaches, and the players know they are puppets, shouldn't the leader of the team, the quarterback, have the ability to know when you ignore a playcall and go for it?
Being a puppet is your opinion, though I do agree with you, now that I know what you mean by it lol. We don’t know that Dak or any other player feels the same way.

so you got nothing but won't admit it
and if you play in fear of the refs then you are a loser
what happened was withing five yards of the LOS so no call and no matter how desperately you want to clear Dak it is not going to work

How am I clearing Dak? Clearing him from what, listening to his head coach's instructions? That doesn't require clearing.

And what is this, "you got nothing"? I never claimed to have anything, I clearly stated that I wasn't trying to say that Pickens would be flagged. I also never said the ref was going to throw the flag. I just said I didn't have faith in this specific ref crew.

Where is this "admit it you got nothing" crap coming from? That doesn't even fit what I was saying. Stop making up things that aren't there....

Like claiming Pickens was open before the ball was launched.

It’s a little box with a little computer in it that connects to your TV. It runs on android just like half the cell phones out there. You can install apps on it and browse the internet just like a cell phone, but using a remote. You can get one on Amazon for under $50.
Can you hook it up on a Sony smart TV? You scarying me, bro. lol

All I know is that the ref never even reached for the flag not once. Video evidence does not support the Dak-friendly prognostication.

Well I clearly stated I wasn't saying whether or not the flag would be thrown. That wasn't my point.

And where did you get this "Dak friendly" thing from? Im confused how Dak listening to his coach to make the right play is "Dak unfriendly". You lost me with the Dak friendly comment.

I have a question also
Why would you kick the ball into the end zone, on the pursuing play rather than into the field of plate to run the clock out
That’s the last opportunity we had to send this into overtime, and coach blew that .
Yep, that’s more egregious than the previous play

BOLD above. Lol...those guys can throw the game. I just wish Dak would have tried.

From what I saw the window looked awfully narrow for that play call.
That is a valid concern. Quarterbacks have faced the same situation. Some choose not to pull the trigger. Others did and ended with either incompletions, knockdowns, or even interceptions (sometimes as pick-sixes). And there have been times when the quarterback and receiver connected for touchdowns despite the coverage. It is definitely not a sure-thing outcome.

I broached the topic again because Brian Schottenheimer's words continue to weigh on me still. It would be great if he were not such a chatty box. He is a Jerry Jones clone in that regard. Me? If it's third-and-goal at the five, with an opportunity to go up four with time left on the clock, and my offense is the strength of my team, I'm calling the play and shutting up.

Either my quarterback can make that throw, place the ball where his receiver can make a play on the ball and not the defender, or he can't. If the team loses, I want the opponent's defense to dictate the outcome by getting a hand or body between the passer and receiver. What I do not want is giving the opponent ANY insane opportunity to win the game after tying the game without making the effort first.

There have been too many real game outcomes where the opponent got the ball back with a few seconds left, the world goes mad, and they run into their locker room howling like hyenas as the victor.
  • Brandon Aubrey tied the game.

  • Aubrey loses his mind on the kickoff.

  • A former two-time league MVP makes ONE freaking pass against a still disturbingly porous defense, which the head coach should best know all too well among eight billion human beings.

  • The same used-to-be MVP somehow, miraculously, gets a no-second timeout before his receiver can call for a timeout.

  • Line up for the kick. It's good. The head coach later says he overcoached the moment.
Chalk up another cautionary tale of Schottenheimer family risk-averse coaching. And another highly unlikely, BUT there it is again: another L in the loss column. It is enough to bang your head through a concrete wall. :(

Against the Giants game we should've won, where he panicked early in the game? Against the commodes who are bottom feeders? Or against the Raven's team we had an opportunity to win a game that most people had marked down as a loss before the season started? I mean, I guess you are part of his propaganda machine, where we going to look at everything but being 1-2, which is in the end what matters.

I said generally I feel that way. I've done one of these rating some years back, but honestly, right now, why should I be doing homework you are assigning for me. Also, do you generally judge quarterbacks how well they do in the regular season, or does the post season factor in. We look at the NFL QB Index, and if we believe that Dak is #3 right now and Purdy is #1, so Ranking is a pretty subjective thing. I'm sure you could post yours and I got spend some time coming up with mines, and then we would disagree anyway.

The Giants game, we got outplayed, outplayed, out hustled physically, and out coached. I guess it was probably a little difficult for the offense to shake it off when they barely touched the ball. Overall bad game for the Dallas Cowboys team.

Then you called the Commanders bottom feeders.... yet they beat the reigning Superbowl champion Seattle Seahawks with a backup quarterback. I guess bottom feeders are known for beating Superbowl champions huh... make that make sense.

Then the Ravens... were weren't even favored to win that game, but isn't amazing that we had a chance in that game and we have a bottom 3 defense who ranks 32nd in 3 different categories currently? I wonder how we kept the game so close.

As far as the quarterback rankings, you didn't want to list them because you can't name 11 quarterbacks that are better than Dak. Then you mention playoffs.... regular season and playoffs are accomplished by the efforts of a football team, not one player.

No quarterback has ever accomplished anything in football by himself and no quarterback ever will.

Never heard the term when you're watching a game in here and say wow that was a late flag right because sometimes they decide not to bother throwing it since it wouldn't have affected the play but if Prescott would have completed that pass for a touchdown it was likely that pass was gonna be called an OPI the likely that it's there the option was there and most people seen the posturing look like he was reaching back for a flag and they said oh never mind don't need it.

A little shocked to some of y'all like you've never watched a game and heard that term when they're calling the game wow that flag was late You know because the flag might have been thrown and then the defender would have been really animated if that ball is completed and it's a touchdown and been calling for it and all of a sudden the flag comes out you've never seen that before because apparently you knew to football because I've been watching sports a long time and there's been some late whistles and some late flags and some crazy things gone down when you think that maybe it couldn't..
A little shocked you dont think 10 yards can make a difference. It still affects the play. I didn't say it doesn't happen. I said if its penalty call it.

That wasn’t a conversation, but thank you for joining
We were talking about Kellen Moore, why people didn’t have confidence in him, it’s because we already had a Jason Garrett
CP is in a similar situation. Its looks bad now but he deserves a chance. Doesn’t mean he’ll work out

Why got outplayed because when the quarterback has that look on his face that the game is too big for him, that is not a good sign. I know you probably will say but it was hot and he was just sweating.

Just given their past history with us and that we beat them like we usually would. I don't quite get how they did against another team has to do with us, considering the old saying: on any given Sunday.

Then the Ravens... were weren't even favored to win that game, but isn't amazing that we had a chance in that game and we have a bottom 3 defense who ranks 32nd in 3 different categories currently? I wonder how we kept the game so close.

We are what our record says we are. Right now that would be 3rd best in the NFC East. That would make a possible feel good comback that turned into a loss because of bad decision making, very costly. But I guess it could be a win for should/coulda/woulda

I see it is okay for you to make opinions into facts when you berate others for doing so. What does that make you? It's something I have done in the past, but don't feel like doing now. You can believe that or not, in the end it doesn't matter to me. I don't have time to do homework some guy on the zone assigns to me. You think Purdy is the #1 ranked quarterback in the NFL right now? The ranking the NFL is giving him. In the end it is someone opinion and analysis, and requires revision every year. Honestly, I haven't had time to watch foodball outside of the Cowboys this year: New job and lot of training involved.
