Yes we need D. I was listening to cavenaugh and Broaduss (the fan) yesterday and they were doing a what if scenario on one of their segments. The cowboys are on the clock at #4 and they have been trying like hell to trade down with no success.

The top 2 QBS and Sewell are gone and the top rated player on their draft board is of course Jamar Chase (WR out of LSU) what do you do? While this scenario is not far fetched im taking Parsons and not look back or ill reach for Surtain or Farley

They were saying take the WR and trade Gallup or one of the other WR if i heard them correctly. Point id I could see the cowboys draft board being like that. Hell I can even see them having Pitts high on their board.

I'm not taking a corner there. You can get similar caliber corners in the 2nd round. I would just pick Chase and trade Gallup for a mid-round pick. You have a top receiving group locked in for the next four years. Obviously that's if you are forced to pick. A trade back is the preferable scenario. I think at 4 someone will still trade up to get the #3 qb.

......Dak’s fanatics still see that as him having a 5-0 record when he got carted off the field.

If falling apart the last month of last season doesn’t convince them, nothing will. The 8-8 seasons are never Dak’s responsibility
this is the truth man, i know i have no cool aids

Grow up as all you do is insult people and name call them should they dare have an opinion different from yours, especially if it comes to Dak.
He is a bit of a one-track pony.

I hate posting this picture of Dak's gruesome injury, but it's the only way to prove you wrong and hope you stop saying such falsehoods.

For the record, Dak ended up winning this game against the Giants, so that left his record at 2-3 (which should have been 4-1 had our Defense ever shown up to play).
The giants have scored more that 23 pts only once this season. Our defense is historically bad and for some fans to say that the qb of the #1 offense (at the time) is a bum because the defense allowed opposing teams to consistently score at will is ignorant at best. Defense sucks...Let's draft a QB! :lmao:

...and your excuse for last year when the defense played much better and Dallas finished 8-8?

What have we missed? Dak had a 1-3 record and was losing to the Giants before the injury.
ahhh, hate to infomr you. when Dak got injured we were ahead in the game against giants....and on the 19 yard line.

in reality, in the NFL. Dak gets the win for the giants game. so he would be 2-3.

sorry. rules are rules....we can't just make up stuff as we go along.

WE, lost a QB who was 1-3 going in 1-4 in the weakest division in NFL

is that who you “miss”?
yes. I miss him. and we weren't going 1-4, because we were leading the giants at the time.

and yes, we were scoring 30+ points a game. while defense was giving up 36+...

now, defense gives up 36+ and we score 14......

see the difference?

situational coaching. put bilicheck in there, during critical moments of the game and we are 11-5 easily. remember the vikings game, when the coach decided to run and pass to zeke three times in a row down inside the redzone? we had lots of brain farrt moments like that and thus bye bye Garrett and now same coach is on the hot seat in NY and close to getting fired....in fact our OL coach got fired two weeks ago...

and its simple. do you take 32+ pts per game or 14+ points per game? really. its that simple

Didn’t we have a lead when he went down?
its called revisionist history. basically I don't like what facts are, so I will spin something and put it out there and then enough people say it, then it must be true. enough dak haters say it, then it becomes a point of argument they cling to....reality be damned

LOL....it's ALWAYS everyone and everything else's fault but Dak yet his absence is why Dallas is losing. You people can't have it both ways.

oh, on the contrary...I have blamed Dak plenty. I have never said he was perfect and I challenge you to find one post from me that says that....in fact I have said that he is less than perfect and stand firm that there is no perfect QB. they all make mistakes. during the game, game to game, etc....but you have to look at the overall body of work, taking into account certain factors....the undisputed FACT remains the team is more competitive with Dak. the undisputed FACT is that the team was scoring more with Dak.

now, I ask you a question, simple one. so get your spinner ready.....if Tom Brady would have played in dallas under Garrett. how many championships would he have?

and I fully agree. you can't have it both ways. apparantley to Dak haters he does, 100% of everything wrong given a lot of dak haters think he is not worthy of a starting position in NFL, meaning he is at best the 33rd best QB in the league....now tell me more....

The difference between Romo and Dak is that Romo had a horrible defense, no running game, and retread WR's most of his career and was blamed when he wasn't able to pull out a win. See those people blaming him for a loss in which our defense gave up 50+ points. With Dak, for a majority of his career he has had a leading rusher, top-tier WR's, and a less than mediocre defense. However, in some people's eyes he can't be blamed for anything. If you say things that aren't even bad about Dak like "he's an average QB" or "He wants more money than his play dictates" you get smahed by the pro-Dak crowed and get labeled as "having an agenda". These are usually the same people who crapped on Romo. So, I'll say it again, "Dak is an average QB who has shown no reason he should be among the highest paid QB's in the league." I hope we draft a QB with one of our top picks so we don't become one of those teams that's just average each year. That's the one bad thing you can say about Romo. He kept us good enough to avoid getting talent at the top of the draft.
murray had almost 1800 yards....Romo had Dez, Witten in their prime. the OL was pretty good too. and when Murray was gone, we still had a 1000 yard rusher.....

and I find it funny, Romo didn't have defenses, so its ok he didn't get far in playoffs or get a lot of 8-8 season...but Dak is 1-3 this year before his injury, but its Dak not the defense!!!!

two different measuring sticks?

The bashing of Romo and Dak is about the same.
