Here's the thing. Casual fans only see the QB, so that's all they want to talk about. And casual fans get their football from highlights. Sooooooooooooooo, they're comparing Dak's complete games to the highlights of other QB's. And that's why their take is so bad, and that's why the QB threads are so bad. It will never change.

oh, on the contrary...I have blamed Dak plenty. I have never said he was perfect and I challenge you to find one post from me that says that....in fact I have said that he is less than perfect and stand firm that there is no perfect QB. they all make mistakes. during the game, game to game, etc....but you have to look at the overall body of work, taking into account certain factors....the undisputed FACT remains the team is more competitive with Dak. the undisputed FACT is that the team was scoring more with Dak.

now, I ask you a question, simple one. so get your spinner ready.....if Tom Brady would have played in dallas under Garrett. how many championships would he have?

and I fully agree. you can't have it both ways. apparantley to Dak haters he does, 100% of everything wrong given a lot of dak haters think he is not worthy of a starting position in NFL, meaning he is at best the 33rd best QB in the league....now tell me more....

Last year the D couldn't get a TO to save their lives and the Special Teams was the worst unit in the NFL which helped the O be placed in the worst avg field position in the NFL every game.

I would think those are factors that should be considered.

If you really believe this is a team game then you would agree that paying one guy 40 million while the rest of the team has to be patched up is a sure fire way of ensuring that you would will not be fielding the best possible TEAM on the field.

I've thought franchise QBs are overpriced for a good decade. It's gotten much worse lately.

It's a market bubble. Teams that figure out how to drat and develop QBs on the cheap will be at a massive advantage. I hope we do that.

Oh, and against the Rams (Dallas lost 20-17) Dak did nothing the whole 2nd half, against the Seahawks (Dallas lost 38-31) Dallas was down 30-15 in early 3rd quarter, against the Browns (Dallas lost 49-38) Dallas was down 41-14 at the start of the 4th quarter......so while you can point to the defense why did it take until the game was out of hand for Dak to step up?

Oh, and against the Giants (Dallas won 37-34) Dallas was up 24-23 when Dak got injured only because of a defensive fumble return TD or else Dallas would have been losing that game, seeing as how Dak threw a pick 6 earlier in the game.
