You HAVE to be kidding me...

whats the answer to the question?

edit- i do have other things to do today than post on this board. no need for self flattery.
I can't answer the question. Only you can.

When are you coming out here so you can call some Native Americans "Commanders?"

Cibeque would be a great place to test this. Of course if you're afraid to say that word to Apaches we can choose Tohono O'odham, Hopi, or Navajo.

Self flattery is rather funny. Drama Major?

MY question.

and show me your info and that 'sensitive term' claim.

btw- are you implying that native americans are savages?
No, I think he implied that they would have a right to feel that is an offensive term and you might get your clock cleaned for being a jerk and calling them that name. No different than if you offended any ethic group.

To assume that name isn't considered offensive because some don't mind it is rather narrow.

it's an assumption, since Hostile is inviting you to go up to a group of Native American's and call them Commanders, so I'm assuming that it wouldn't be taking so well because of the nature of it's sensitivity, because he said he'd wait in the car w/ a video camera

and where the heck did you get that I was implying that they were savages?

or a Commander fan putting a spin on things cuz there is no wrong in whatever the Commanders do

LOL, I'm glad you don't have to report to him anymore

nobody wants to answer the question about how many native americans must feel offended in order to change the name?

I think they should change the name. Hell couldn't the American Indians claim violation of civil rights? I mean seriously...if there was a team named the Nashville N-word......How long would that team last? It is the same thing the name is derogatory.
the problem is, you being a hating Cowboys fan, don't realize that only a small extremist minority of the American Indian population consider "Commanders" insulting

it's these extremists that keep giving you haters fuel for the fire and keep wasting our courts' time

extremists of all kinds... neocons, far left liberals, black panthers, white supremists, etc., have no place in American society

it's because we aren't able to speak to every Native American in the entire USofA in order to conduct a poll on it

that makes two of us!!!!!!! I appreciate your concern!;)

I'm concerned because if you were still under him, and he'd be an arse to you, you'd come on here being an arse ;)

One American Indian is enough, idiot!

Walk up to any black stranger that you know, just one, pick him out of a crowd...go up to him and call him the N- word! See what he does! He will most likely give you a "savage" beating!

You RedStinks fans and your logic is amazing. Amazingly stupid!

I answered the question. You don't like the answer.

The fact that there are those insulted by the name isn't enough for you?

How many need to be insulted for you to give a damn? That's the better question. It isn't as sterile as a simple percentage Riggo. Or is that too deep for you to grasp?

But, America Indians do have a place and a history in society! And, they don't deserve to be call Commanders....!

Freaking amazing!

So, I make you the same invitation. Fly on out here to Arizona and I'll take you to the Native American reservation of your choice so you can call them that name. Since it is an "extremist minority" as you say, surely you'd have the balls to say this word to them.

Come on, what are you afraid of?

Oh and BTW, American society should have less place for bigots.

wow, funny you speak of logic, so if ONE person is offended, everything must accomidate that one person? lol

wow, political correctness at its worse

you can find one person offended by everything and anything in this world... I'm sure you can find a rancher that takes offense to use of "Cowboy" with the corny big hats, sterotypical rope around the waste, yelling YEE HAW every day

please

And I can do the same to you, take you to an Indian reservation where Indians sport Commanders jerseys with pride

I can show you the actual tribe that demanded our team put an Indian head on there instead of an arrow or big R

come on, what's your point?

The answer is: it doesn't matter.

The percentage is irrelevant because the term is offensive. What makes it offensive? Just as the Supreme Court ruled on "what is pornography," YOU KNOW IT WHEN YOU SEE IT.

You don't need a focus group or a poll to know that Redsk*n is an offensive name for Native American Indians. How do you determine that the N-word is offensive? Do you take a poll? What about black people who use it themselves? Does that make it acceptable to name a team that? Of course not. It's an offensive term and would rightfully be banned for use in the NFL.

How many people would need to be offended by the F-word to make it unacceptable for placement on an NFL helmet? If I can't come up with an exact number, does that make it OK for use?

Come on Riggo, you're grasping at straws to defend your team's racist moniker.

No Commanders fan will ever take me up on this invitation. I'm amazed at how two faced that is. That's my point. By all means, enjoy your hypocrisy.
