Jets and Jags were interested.
Most good teams are cash strapped with a good QB or
have a #1WR.
Plus, Dallas wasn't going to trade with an NFC team.

They wanted nothing to do with the contract. They were interested UNTIL that.

Yet no one in the league was willing besides the Cleveland Browns. Any team could've taken on the contract for a 5th and ... no takers????? That's weird? LOL This team has been restructuring and restructuring and no quality results whatsoever. NONE. Just lonely old Cleveland. A super Smart organization!
Where was the interest in the great Amari Cooper? A tremendous route runner and so called top10 WR. Surely Wilson or Lawrence would thrive with a player like this.

I hope someone is keeping track here.

It will be fun when mid-season '22 people will
be pissed at the pedestrian offense and screaming
for talent at WR to draw double coverage.

Ya know, rinse and repeat. Just like when Dallas traded
for Cooper in the first place.

Schultz will look like a street free agent when he's not
running wide open in the middle of the field. Then they'll
bitsh about his new contract too... smh

Again, nobody said the contract as is feasible, it's also funny as soon as he would've released he would've been snatched up, Cleveland knew they had Dallas over a barrel because they let the world know he was being released..lol

Why? any team could've offered a 5th. Everyone knew he was being released 2 years ago. lol If he is still here you're pushing an unfeasible contract even further into the future.

Now teams don't need a #1? lol Only the Browns.

Those 2 teams have enough space to absorb the hit and they could have restructured his deal to spread it out.

Right, which I'm guessing is why they were interested.
Dallas chose to deal with Cleveland.

You don't know that more teams didn't. Nobody knew he was being released 2 years ago, had they used him right he'd still be here this year.

When he signed the deal, they had an out in 22. It was common knowledge. And no other teams besides the Jags and Jets but they wanted nothing to do with the contract. Only 1 team was willing to do that.

Again, nobody knew, if they felt they were getting what they wanted out of Cooper he would've been here. Again, Cleveland knew they had Dallas over a barrel and didn't want to fight for him on the open market, you have no idea if others offered or not.
