Zeke Elliott appreciation thread

He is better at running we feed him the ball less, when he is garbage we feed him the ball more.

Zeke was the top RB that year BECAUSE HE HAD LITERALLY 40+ more carries than the RB behind him that year. Barkley was at 261, that was the second RB in attempts.

His longest run that season was a whopping 38 yards. Stop posting stupid crap.

LOL.. you're obsessed with something that has little to no impact on the outcome of games. As evidenced by how many of the guys with these long runs sit home watching the playoffs every year. Have fun watching those highlights while chain movers like Zeke square off in the playoffs.

If we could make Dak and Zeke disappear this off-season, with no dead cap, it would be franchise altering. Two of the worst contracts in the league…So no, no appreciation from me.

I am countering what you said - I gave you context. Zeke did not have burst in 2018, he couldn't get to the second level, oh and while we are talkin about what impacts a game - Zeke had 6 rushing TDs on 304 carries that season. Tied for 21st.

The only obsession here is your blind homerism for Zeke and stinking up every thread with your BS.

Good Gawd, another Elliott man crush thread. Not everyone likes the guy. And he certainly doesn't play his heart out in every game. Stats don't lie. He will never be the same after he was paid. Fourteen million per season he should be playing his heart out at every snap & game. Highest paid RB.

Seems more like another thread taken over by Zeke haters. That don’t understand the entire concept of it all.

Gotta be careful using the spin moves in traffic. It exposes the ball at times and can lead to fumbles. But against a single defender it's a great tool. I used it all the time.. The look on the defender's face after he hunkered down for a collision and was left standing there with an arm full of air was priceless. I wish we had better video back in the day. I could watch some of those runs all day! LOL! That black and white coaches tape from 40 years ago just doesn't hold up well..

" I used it all the time" :lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::laugh::laugh:

Thats OK, Zeke actually had a good game for once. I can deal with the Zeke drool. Its not like it happens often. 80 yards and you guys go bananas. Says it all actually.

Interesting how I never see you make an appreciation thread when Pollard goes for 100 yards on 10 carries. Again, says it all.

Long runs don’t impact games?

Using a draft pick that high on a running back annoyed me.
Him showing up to the draft in a crop top annoyed me.
He was a waste of a high pick, and our “brain trust “ doubled down on stupidity with that contract.
Man I wish it was the Cowboys that the NFL was talking about forcing the ownership to sell and not the commanders

Not if they are accompanied by a bunch of 1 and 2 yarders and heaven forbid negatives. You will never convince me that one guy gaining 55 yards on 10 carries with one 40 yard run followed by 9 for 15 the rest of the game is better than the guy who cranks out 55 yards on 10 carries.. 5-6 yards at a time. The first guy will likely get on SportsCenter and go home a loser.. the second guy will probably celebrate a win with his teammates. Steady production is superior no matter what fantasy nerds try to tell you. Sitting around waiting for the big play is losing football. Period. Most coaches know that, which is why very few of these feast or famine backs are starters in the league. It's fine if you don't agree.. but you're still wrong. Saquon Barkley is one of the best home run threat backs in the NFL .. and he's never sniffed playoff air in his 4 years in the league. That MAY change this year.. but I'm going to have to see it to believe it. The Giants are 100% doing it with smoke and mirrors and that house of cards is dying to come tumbling down.

I did say that about Pollard.
I will leave it at that. Not getting into your posting games.

He was well worth the high draft pick. He was the premiere running back in the league for his first four years before injuries and the workload wore his knees out.

He was getting pretty big chunks from about the 3rd carry on.. It just took our idiot OC too long to figure that out. And of course he got away from it the first chance he got.
KMoore been a RB killer since he got the keys.

He has no burst. He looks like he runs a 4.7 at best if he were clocked for the 40.

22.9 mph on the GPS device during OTAs according to his coach... I'll let you do the math on what that works out to in a 40..

Did you read my post I never said he had burst I said he needs space to get up to speed, once he has 10 clean yards his speed is there like at the end of his TD run.
