Did you read my post I never said he had burst I said he needs space to get up to speed, once he has 10 clean yards his speed is there like at the end of his TD run.

Look up his longest run since 2019. That is your answer.

22.9 mph on the GPS device during OTAs according to his coach... I'll let you do the math on what that works out to in a 40..

Coach hand times are always inaccurate and not to be trusted. He looks outright slow in the open field. Easily ran down by any cb. Definitely not 4.4 or even 4.5 speed anymore.

He was well worth the high draft pick. He was the premiere running back in the league for his first four years before injuries and the workload wore his knees out.

No he wasn't and we could have got Henry in the second and people in this very forum were actually calling for Ramsey and Henry.

Ramsey gets torched in big games. Henry was injury prone early in his career. Besides that, Derrick Henry has rushed for 7,205 yards since 2016. Ezekiel Elliot has rushed for 7,702 yards since 2016.

So you would rather have a running back who rushed for 497 less yards than Elliot? Why? Numbers don't lie. People do. (Drops mic)

And Diggs freakin' doesn't? Did you see his stats for last season? Have you been watching games this season? Also, Ramsey helped his team get a ring.

And Henry was injury prone? He missed two games until the 2021 season. He started out splitting carries with Demarco Murray. The combination of Ramsey + Henry + Dak is a better draft than the one we had in 2016. Oh, and Henry took a pretty team friendly deal for the production he was giving.

You don't know what you're talking about.

Diggs is not one of the highest paid cornerbacks in the league. Nice try to change the conversation. So you still don't have a response as to why you would take a back with 497 yards less than Ezekiel? And Elliot outgained Henry over the last season in 2021. Lol. I accept your dishonorable discharge from the facts. You are dismissed corporal

....because Diggs is still on his rookie contract. Duh.

I just gave you the argument, Einstein. He started out his career splitting carries with Demarco Murray. If anything, that helps Henry's case that he's right there with Zeke. I'm sure Henry would have struggled running behind Smith, Frederick, Martin, and Collins and only Zeke could have done that.

I didn't say anything about hand times.. The GPS devices they were measure how fast they are moving. No attention is paid to any 40 times or any such.. Just how fast you run.. If you're runnin 22 mph you're haulin arse. Period. This business about "looks outright slow" is pointless. Guys who are smooth striders always "look" slower than they're actually moving. Zeke ran away from a defender who had a severe angle on him on that 30+ yard catch and run a couple of weeks ago. And he looked pretty "slow" while running away from the two guys who had him dead to rights on the TD Sunday night. Yet neither of them could catch him. Anybody can take short choppy steps and "look" like they're moving fast. I have no idea how fast Zeke is now as compared to his rookie season.. But I do know how fast 22 mph is. And if he can run that fast then he is nothing close to being "slow." What he looks like is purely perception.

So you have no reason you want another back with less yards than Elliot. Got it.

It's hilarious how you are now playing obtuse once you got context. You're dismissed.

Still waiting for the reason. Football is not a game for less yards. You wanted to draft the less productive back. Zeke is the more complete back in the blocking game and has much better hands as a receive. Talk about being obtuse. Facts are greater than your feelings.

LOL elementary school drop out doesn't get it.

Less carries often results in less yards. Henry had less than 200 carries in 2016 and 2017 because he was splitting time with Murray. Zeke had 300+ in 2016 and 242 in 2017. Let's compare when Derick Henry has been a starter

Zeke 2018 - 304 carries for 1,434 and 6 TDs
Henry 2018 - 215 carries for 1,059 and 12 TDs

Zeke 2019 - 301 carries for 1,357 and 13 TDs
Henry 2019 - 303 carries for 1,540 yards and 16 TDs

Zeke 2020 - 244 carries for 979 yards and 6 TDs
Henry 2020 - 378 carries for 2,027 yards and 17 TDs

Zeke 2021 - 237 carries for 1002 yards and 10 TDs
Henry 2021 - 219 carries for 937 yards and 10 TDs

You see how carries matter? Maybe picture books are your thing and this is too much for you.

Truth hurts. So let's go to carries to make a separate argument on efficiency. Got it.

I love how you completely ignored the fact Zeke has 239 more career carries than Henry but only has 497 yards more (2.07 YPC).

Like you said, facts don't lie....people do.

To be honest, it doesn't matter if Zeke is fast or slow, he simply hasn't been able to break out into the open filed for a long run. If it's not his speed then it's something else specific to him because Pollard does it on a weekly basis. You can't blame the blocking if your teammate is doing what you seemingly can't.

Thanks for showing Zeke is more durable while handling a higher workload.
