You are reading too much into this. He is merely stating that the goal and what motivates him is winning in the playoffs. He didn't say that this was never a goal in prior years. What is he supposed to say when a reporter asks what his goals are for the season? I would rather him state a team goal than to say something like he wants to win the rushing title. There is nothing wrong with what Zeke said.

No. You only go off what casts a player in the worst light. There's no reason for it, but it seems to be what you do. He didn't address how far he was ready to go in the past, so why do you feel the need? His statement was meant as a positive and you took it in the most negative direction you could. Why would a player willingly stick a tight, sweat creating object on a head and chin full of hair? I don't get it, go for comfort all day long and go full "Bruce Willis" eh.
