Zeke should save his talk about making a deep run in the playoffs until later in the season when it's more apparent they are going to make the playoffs. Seems a bit presumptive to hear that said by a 2022 Cowboy before a single game has been played. Just put some wins up first.

He could have said my motivation is the same now as it's always been and that's winning and reaching our goals as a team.

There are a number of things he could say rather than putting his foot in his mouth talking about making a deep playoff run before a single game has been played. Read the room!

I think his goal was to get rich just like every other player except a select few.

If you win along the way then great, if not then on well, I'm rich.

The competitive fire doesn't stay with everyone after they get paid.

I see some dumb responses to Zeke's statement, smfh!!! Anyone that thinks or says that this guy was never not ready is an idiot! Football is the ultimate team sport and it just doesn't include the players it includes the coaching staff, the FO, the whole organization!!!
I'll keep is short,he needs at least a decent blocking Oline if that's not possible get a true FB or convert a middle LB into a FB. But you have to feed that dude the ball, anyone ever noticed how big his head is? That dude is a hammer head, he has always been that even when he was in his first 3yrs when he was running wild around defenders and outrunning them, you had to know that he was not going to continue to do that, he hadn't grown into his full mature body yet, like I said all you had to do was look at how big his head was.
Anyway when they hired Linehan they came up with this idea of not using him up and started lessening his carries, mistake use that guy the more you give him the ball the stronger he gets, everyone knows a RBs shelf life is 3 to 5 yrs.
I still kinda went long.
