I expect an RB taken in the top 5 to be a huge factor in the run game and the passing game. I didn't know this was crazy expectations since RB is the easiest position to transition into when it comes to the NFL.

Also, this is the forum predicting he would have 1,500 yards this season and even some getting ridiculous and saying he would break records. It's funny to me, Murray got knocked as "It's all the line!" and gets 1,800 yards. Zeke is giving us less production, and the excuses are being thrown.

Admit it, there is a lot of fanboyism for this kid and it will blind them for quite some time. He's looked average the past two weeks, if it's not running well he's making mental errors. Maybe he will improve, but he's simply not living up to the hype.
Wait....we're only two games in. We don't know what he's going to do. There are a lot expected from every player...smh

By the way, your man-crush Ramsey is getting crushed by Rivers. But hey, I'm sure you'll cut him some slack because he's a rookie, right?
He's a cornerback. Of course you give him time. It's a tough position to transition into. But he's also a position of need and longevity. Would much rather have taken a risk on him (or anyone).

By the way, when Zeke breaks-out, I'm going to have some bumping this thread. The mods better not lock it!

If we had traded down will would have picked another QB instead of Dak with the multiple picks....Probably. Think about that.

This is not blatantly wrong. When you are a professional athlete, there is a lot expected from you. These players are making millions and you don't think there's a lot expecting from them?

There is obviously many players, I would say THE MAJORITY in this league that have little to no expectations at all. Most players in this league have a ceiling of being average, many being project players, many being special teams guys.

You are attempting to take a top 5 pick and justify his lack of top 5 production and compare his expectations with that of some scrub that is most likely going to have a career flipping burgers than ever amounting to a single thing in this league.

You want have watched a different team than me today if you think the defensive backfield is where we need talent.

Of course you will, because you know, criticizing a player for his lack of productivity (Not a prediction of the future) and having him be held accountable for fumbles is exactly something you'd go after.

You say nothing, you have little to no opinions on anything at all. Your default position is, sit back and wait until someone is wrong and then come in and pretend you were right all along...despite joining in on no discussions.

Oh, and then labeling people "Eagles" and "Commanders" fans because they aren't praising Zeke after a two fumble day after coming off a mediocre debut.

Zeke himself has labeled his performance average. Straight from the man himself.

Yup, you're right. I have nearly 3k posts on this board, with a ton in the draft sub-forum, but I never offer my opinion. Whatever helps you sleep at night, Skins fan.

Playing his second career game. This argument makes no sense.

He's a 4th overall pick which is an extraodinary price to pay for a RB in today's game. He should be able to start right away and produce right away. Instead he has reportedly shown up out of shape, visited a weed dispensary and hasn't produced while fumbling twice.

Is he officially a bust?

No.

But, he's not looked like the RB we expected to see and excusing 2 fumbles for 83 yards rushing when you would demand to get rid of Murray who was running for 1,800+ yards, setting NFL records for his fumbles. Calling people out for saying Zeke doesn't look like a #4 overall pick at this juncture is pure hypocrisy.

You do realize we're two games in, right? I think you should bark up another tree. If every player was judged on two games...they all would be average.

You joined in 2008, I've been posting here for a year now. As I said, you have no opinion on anything, or well, you never share your opinion. You have no ground to stand on here, you don't want to share your opinion before games, you damn well don't get to come in here and tout yourself like you were never wrong or emotional during gameday.

You're about as useless a poster as I've ever seen.

Whatever you say, sunshine. Keep telling yourself that as I actively assess prospects on the draft forum. It's easy to be a troll, especially when you're actually a fan of a different team.
