Well, I don't presume that he's going to continue fumbling. The first fumble was just an excellent play by Norman. He uses a technique that is rarely used by highly effective.

I think Zeke's "lack of productivity" has to do with the eight-men fronts he's facing and rookie jitters. I think he'll get over them.

Yes it does matter. Of course it matters. Players in the NFL play differently than college or high school. Norman is a savy vet that punched the ball out. Zeke has to adjust how he holds the ball.

You learn from your mistakes, rookies get better as they play the game and learn from their mistakes. To suggest otherwise, shows an agenda against a player.

Let's also be real and admit that that O line isn't looking all that impressive in the run game right now. Zeke should have been in during preseason. He looks like a rookie and our O-line still looks like they are figuring things out when it comes to running the ball. The positive is he looks much better this game than last and had some pretty sizeable carries.

Somebody needs to tell Zeke to stop looking for contact in the NFL. That may work in college, but these players are much bigger, faster and talented.

Somehow, Costner was able to get the #4 pick in the draft for three second rounders, and then turn around and turn that pick into the #5 pick and two first rounders.

Who the heck is going to give up the #4 pick for three second rounders??? Watching the Avengers is probably more realistic than that !!!

DeForrest Buckner looks like garbage. Jalen Ramsey isn't Deion. I dunno who would have been the better pick two TDs in his first two games? Pretty good.

And before anyone says "Well uh, we should have traded down and fleeced the other team in the trade and ended up with 4 superstars." No, that would not have happened. You're not Kevin Costner and this isn't Draft Day. Very seldom does trading down net a king's ransom. If that were so, the Rams wouldn't have been picking #1 and the Browns wouldn't be the Browns.

So far Zeke hasn't lived up to his draft status. Looks somewhat slow and sluggish. Hopefully it's just due to the hamstring injury he had that caused him to miss a lot of training camp and most of preseason.

Watched Curtis Martin's A Football Life the other day. Forgot how bad he was his first half season before Parcells basically told him to ignore his coaching. Hoping for a similar story here even if the reasons are different.

I haven't seen anything special from him yet, but I'm not willing to make a determination based on two games.

I've always been against spending a 4th on any RB, but I am still hoping they made the right decision being Zeke in.

I know a lot of people want to believe Zeke is a 100% sure thing, but he's not the first RB people have said that about.

That's pretty much my take.

When you take a RB with the #4 overall pick part of the selling point was that he was going to be able to step-in immediately, hitting on all cylinders and take the running game to the next level.

Instead, we've seen a guy running into piles, plodding, missing lanes and fumbling. Meanwhile, we gotta a guy in Morris for basically a $1M that looks much more quick, confident and capable out there.
