You sound like the Aggie who requested his pizza be cut into six slices instead of eight because he didn't think he could eat all eight. Slices and pies.
I may sound like an Aggie, but at least I don't look like one. Sheesh!

That is a huge assumption. Also a wrong one.
Pay him 36 now or 45 or more in two years after the next round of contracts happen. Why can't people grasp this very simple concept?

I think you’re assuming that he only wants 36. From what I am understanding is he wants upwards of 35 and if it’s just +/- 1 million I don’t see why the contract hasn’t already been done. Reports said 33-34 in September. I think he’s looking closer to 40. I’ll say this, he’s looking to command this type of money but the FO while they would love for a contract to be done, they don’t see him as the QB to drastically reset the market and definitely not at that price. If we want to talk commanding money, you give the guy the world, if we are talking about Mahommes, a deal would have already been signed, sealed, delivered. Gets me thinking if the Cowboys see Dak even remotely close to that same light. They don’t and that’s why we have this big hold up.

Mahommes can already get a contract extension. I wonder why his deal isn’t signed, sealed, and delivered already.

He is not wanting 40 Jay Glazer reported as much.

Dallas offered 34 but over 6 years with just 90 million guaranteed. That is 2 years more and 20 million less than Goff. They lowballed him and yet everyone is blaming Dak.

Flip side of the coin is the argument that the Rams overpaid Goff and the Cowboys offered an overly generous contract to Prescott.

Add in the commercial benefits of being the quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys.

Only 90 million guaranteed. How dare they. Is that all...

So what? There isn't a quarterback in the league that's not overpaid. Wentz' contract set the tone for that 2016 quarterback draft class. Wentz has a few commercials out as well in the NE and I'm sure Goff does.

Who cares what the man's going to get paid. The Cowboys will come to terms on an agreement before the March 10th deadline. I hope he gets a huge contract just to toss it into all the haters faces so they may continue being miserable.

For his productivity, Prescott has been underpaid over the past four years. If there was no salary cap then he deserves as much as he can get.

But there is a salary cap. That's why people care how much players get paid, especially quarterbacks that demand circa 15% of the cap because historically those teams do not win Superbowls.

I just want the team to have the best chance of winning a Superbowl.

I understand completely what you are saying..........unfortunately in this forum, some consider that a personal attack on Dakota and all that he represents to them.

Some of us just want players to be payed commensurate to their value. The difference is that the aforementioned Dakota, breathless hype men, clearly over exaggerate his worth.

BTW, Ive been busy this weekend ; has Dak been signed to his Mega Contract yet?.....

Mahomes' teammates didn't quit like Dak's did. Plus, Mahomes' coaches are actually very good coaches, unlike Dak's for the past 4 seasons which is why they are all gone now, except for 2-3. I guess cognitive thinking is too much to ask for before posting?

Wouldn't that be something that is a reflection of Dak? and what his teammates think of him? i don't understand what you mean by that unless your saying that Dak isn't able to lead and i don't think you are saying that

Oh it’ll get done. This, what we have going on here will be laughable. They wouldn’t dare even tagging him because he’ll be gone. Lol that’s leverage. I’m not sure what’s going on as far as contract talks over there with the Chiefs but if Mahommes was here, I would bet contract talks wouldn’t have taken this long.

Goff was overpaid. They're not lowballing Dak.

He didn't have to be. Cowboys offered Dak a nice contract beginning of the season, but he wasn't interested.

Your first and last sentence are completely contradictory. How do you guys keep getting this so wrong?

Very interesting comment in the video that Dak might be the 3rd best QB in the division in the future. That would not surprise me at all.

The Cowboys are not trading him- but I would LOVE to know his true trade value. Doubt the team is quietly making phone calls as mentioned.
They maybe.

McCarthy is a shrewd guy.

If he for any reason decides Dak is not HIS answer at QB..

then something could change.

That #17 pick plus whatever they could get for Dak should easily move us to a top position in the draft to take whomever. A couple as a matter of fact..maybe 3.

It might be bigger

QB, WR, SS, FS,CB.
So you think you know more than McCarthy. This place is great. Golden entertainment.
It is a place for fun.

I think most of us enjoy the interaction like a huge fan bar.

But nothing is crazy. It's all been nutty at times.

Sideline protests, controversial refs, you name it.

And yes, we all see things differently. It's like why criminal investigators interview so many people at crime scenes.

People see and hear the same thing but recall it differently. Investigators pullout the facts and go from there.

We are all just Jr G-men working on our cases and the Forum is the Gtand Jury.

Ok by you?
