And you apparently manage a sports organization? How are the 3 QBs from 2020 doing right now? I guess they all suck? People are so scared of the next Trubisky they'll pass on every QB from here on out or just wait until they're in complete desperation mode. The Dolphins got lucky and Fitzmagic was much better than they thought it would be. Plus the Lions are just stupid but they probably end up with Herbert anyway!! Still this is a long term organizational deficiency It's not about intentionally losing games or equating that to going out and not trying or missing tackles, dropping balls purposely.. etc.
Building your team is a year round endeavor and this one always looks absolutely baffled on why bad things are happening and how! It's every stupid decision leading up .. a constant 'year round' rotation regularly puts them in these situations. Pretty factual at this point. That includes in season decisions, trades, benchings, one eye on the future, contracts, letting guys walk, starting young guys, coaching. Things that might cause a loss in the short term, but can help in the long term. The gamut of building a quality team. People think this is about 1 year or 1 QB or flat out quitting, now that's funny???.
Jerrys' "win now" one for the gipper mentality. It's actually comical at this point. All businesses look beyond, NFL is no different.. and this team stinks at it. Again pretty factual. This isn't high school but some are definitely smarter than others. "all games matter"? You gotta be kidding? This team routinely disappoints yet management somehow can't put a finger on the issue? Building a team matters the most and there's nothing sneaky or underhanded about it. Instead close the season with a nice moral victory and clean out your lockers! And amazingly enough some fans are all for it?!! and then just refuse to see the pattern?
