Jerry Jones: Dak stats are “garbage time” [Personal Opinion Included]

Has nothing to do with any claims of Dak hate or anti-Dakvibes.
The fact is that every team that believes that their QB is franchise Caliber has a long- term deal attached to that player.
Excluding rooks.
Now if you want to mud the waters with Dak hate words fine but the above reality is confirmed from Rodgers to Ryan to Wilson,etc etc....

The only one of the two of us who mentioned the word hate (and twice in fact) is you alone.

My opinion stands on the topic of franchise quarterback, as does yours.

Jerry just spoke on 105 the fan and basically stated that offense struggled even when Dak was starting and they only moved the ball more because teams defense allowed them to.

The Cowboys are so easy to stop, it leads to QB stats. The opponents go into the game to stop Elliott so Dak will get passing stats, and when you have turnovers and the Cowboys are down 14 points, you are not going to start gambling on defense to change a defensive game plan that is working.

Jimmy Johnson, Tom Landy, and Bill Parcells would never abandon the run so quickly as Jerry's puppet head coaches.

I'll give you that. More often than not Dak has proven to have the clutch gene from day 1. I just don't consider that carrying a team, and would only use that phrase with a handful of active QBs. If Dak could really put this team on his back we would have been 8-8 last year, 2-4 this year.

The Cowboys thrived when Dak didn't have to be superman like he does now. Obviously the overall talent level on this team has dropped since 2016, but so have the Ws. Daks numbers have improved drastically as he enters his prime years, but the results have gotten worse. It's been very Tony Romo or Matt Stafford esque. All are a lot of fun to watch at the end of games, but none have consistently won in this league. I think it makes for a fair debate about signing QBs to long term high dollar deals.

Carrying the team is a misused myth. And if you need one of 53 to "carry" the rest, you suck anyway.

Listen.. When you throw as many times as Dak has you'll always have that 1 time he anticipated a throw. I'm heavily generalizing how he plays because he is safe by nature as a QB.

The Cowboys weren't easy to stop. They were moving the ball and only the turnovers were stopping them.

And that's what Jerry was saying. Contrary to what the OP would have you believe, Jerry wasn't disparaging Dak, nor was he disparaging the offense on any count other than the turnovers. He specifically said that when Dak was playing there was nothing wrong with what the offense was doing except the turnovers.
