How do those shots of the war room after making some of these picks make you feel?

What exactly are they celebrating and high fiving? The fact that they're rich?

Still holding onto that theory they care about winning?

Next time they give you a shot of that, ask yourself this question? How does that differ from the other war rooms we've been seeing? That look like a NFL draft war room to you or an Executive Conference room?

Pick out the shot caller in any of those other war room shots, can't can you? Got no problem with the Cowboys one, do you?

I have reached another level of dislike for this entire family as they celebrate what they've done to my football team. If mediocrity was the goal, they're very successful.

What other GM has openly tried to justify his first pick like this? Matt Millen and Crazy Al never embarrassed themselves like he did telling a reporter if he'd give him $1000, he'd show him the draft board to prove it? Who does that?

I am disgusted watching those people in that setting. It speaks to everything wrong about this team. And why it's not going to get much better.

It's all about the show, just like the team.

It is what it is. We can roll in the mud every day if we want to. It’s not going to change.

I’m actually pleased with how our Football Idiots have focused on defense thus far. I’d liked to have seen us move up at least one spot yesterday to get our Safety from TCU but otherwise am pleased they haven’t been distracted by shinier objects .

Once you lower your expectations it’s easier to find some salvation.

Watching the Jones family pretend to know how an NFL franchise should be run makes me wish the NFL would go the way of the XFL and other defunct football leagues. Put us out of our misery already. I'm so sick and tired of watching that family fiddle with the franchise like it was a toy.

I'm with you CC, but you have to wonder if there is a ceiling to the levels of dislike a person can have before they throw up their hands and walk away for good. The bad news is that the Jones family will still be running this franchise into the ground long after you and I are gone. So we can either learn to be a blind optimist like Rockport or just tune the whole crap-fest out.

Many of us might be an inch away from tuning them out for good. It simply isn't enjoyable watching this team any more.

Anyone who thinks the Jones family cares about winning clearly has their head buried in the sand.

Don't look at me because I have been complaining about the Jomes family as long as anybody on this board. I would say at least since Parcels took Jerry's money and left as fast as his feet would carry him. PT Barnum never met mic, camera or dollar he didn't love. The rest of the family are literally poster children for the evils of nepotism. Nothing changes until they go.

Focusing on D and not specific players is like going to a restaurant and just saying "bring me some food".

LOL..........and its like the WHOLE FAMILY is there all screwing up the franchise together. Jerry, two sons, his daughter. Its like a big family picnic of ineptitude. And then there is MM sitting there looking like he just ate the whole cream pie right before he sat down.

Meanwhile the Eagles completely nailed the first two picks. WR and a stud center? Didnt see the third round for them. And they actually picked up extra picks trading down in the first didnt they?

If you were unaware of the record of this team and just how embarrassingly bad the defense was last season, what would your impression have been from watching them after these picks?

The difference between them and 90% of the other war rooms we were watching is those others are filled with people who are accountable and have jobs on the line. They cannot just wait for players to fall to them, they have to target them and get them.

There are already rumors about the Raiders war room in trouble after their first pick and this is the team with the craziest draft reputation in the game. They're expected to be "out there".

I thought McCarthy might bring some Super Bowl magic to this team, but from what I see to this point, he’s along for the ride collecting a paycheck.

If his draft board says that, WM should be fired yesterday.

Brother, the first pick was solid. The rest, I have no idea how it will turn out.
