I remember people on here claiming Prescott was a better QB than Aaron Rodgers heading into last season. I got shut down for calling them out as an embarrassment.

Now he's being compared with Tom Brady.

It would be hilarious if it wasn't so pathetic.

As MountaineerCowboy stated, Prescott's level is that of Cousins and Carr. Solid game managers, company guys, yes men. Nothing wrong with that and there's no shame in that. They won't do anything stupid and will stay clear of major trouble and be available to play for their teams at a solid level. The classic notion, they will not win you a game but they will not lose you a game. That's fine. It's when people start claiming Prescott is better than Rodgers and being compared with Brady that it annoys people because it's so BRAINLESS, sad, pathetic and embarrassing to do so.

Well its not getting upset for starters. Its simply having a football discussion on a forum. We all aren't going to agree on everything on this site.

So with that out of the way I never compared him to Brady I used him as an example because to me Brady is the GOAT. He's the ceiling. And you think Kirk Cousins and Derek Carr fair well in games against top defenses? If you do, you have another thing coming lol. I used Brady because I thought it would be easier for you to understand but I guess not maybe?
The discussions ceases to be based in reality the second you start using Tom Brady as any kind of example in defense of Dak.

Again, stick to guys Dak actually compares to like Cousins or Carr instead of the GOATs. You know, other guys that put up pretty numbers with no success.

"And you think Kirk Cousins and Derek Carr fair well in games against top defenses?" No, I don't. That's why I suggested them, because they're more often then not terrible against top defenses just like Dak, and, just like Dak they have ZERO success in this league outside of getting contracts they don't deserve.

You forgot that that all three also somehow duped their teams into signing them to historic contracts.

But Brady struggled last year in big games too but he shouldn’t be apart of the conversation because….well because you don’t like good points being made lol?

Cousins and Derek Carr are good quarterbacks as well and they too struggle against good defenses…so maybe it’s not just a Dak problem since Cousins, Carr and Brady all do it?

There is nothing game manager about Kirk Cousins lol…..that’s like saying Tony Romo was a game manager…just a lazy opinion.

I don't care if Brady struggled in some games. He threw 40 TDs and lead his team to a Super Bowl win.

I wouldn't care if Dak struggled in some games and went on to win the Super Bowl either.

Do Cousins, Carr, and Dak go on from those struggles to end the season with a Super Bowl like Brady? Until they do, pipe down.

Did Brady single handedly win a Super Bowl? Was he the one putting pressure on Mahomes all game? Make it make sense…

I mean there’s nothing posters can do for people who like simple reading comprehension skills to know when someone is comparing a player to another player and when they aren’t…..

His 3 passing TDs and zero turnovers in route to winning ANOTHER Super Bowl MVP put pressure on Mahomes to answer, so yes.

Ok because 21 points usually isn't enough to beat Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs...but somehow it was that day? Wonder why? Its all good man we'll just agree to disagree. Just another pointless debate. At the end of the day Dak is our quarterback and I expect big things from him this year. Just glad we got away from the Dalton, Dinucci, Gilbert mess from last year.

I respect that responds and I can agree with what you're saying about getting away from the back ups.

It'll be good to see the team with all their offensive weapons hopefully at full strength.

Dak is a top 10 NFL QB. Maybe he cracks the top 5 with a complete season this year like he had last year. I think Rodger, Brady, Mahomes are clearly top 3. Wilson is up there too. I think Big Ben gets a vote as well. After that there are a bunch of up and coming QBs and Dak is in that mix. He is good enough to win a Super Bowl is he has some help from the defense. My only issue with Dak is how much money he got paid.
