On pace for over 1400 yards and 11 TD's.

Dez never had a 1400 yard season in his entire career.

So, no. CeeDee is not overrated.

I feel like he just isn't as good as Dez, and Dez isn't a HOFer. I know we didn't have a lot of better options at 17 except Diggs himself and we got Diggs anyway in the second round. But I think it could have been an overdraft considering Noah Brown and Cedrick Wilson have performed just as well in this offense when given their opportunities on a per snap basis. Lamb drops passes, doesn't make tough contested and spectacular catches. He only catches when he's open. He's not Dez even though the Cowboys painfully obviously try to scheme him to get as many chances as he can.

Opinions??

Have you ever had a lamb over a pit of fire? Put some BBQ with...tater salad.

This Lamb is not ready to be cooked...he be still eating the corner backs of the ribs.

Personally I'm glad we do not have diva WR, these guys are working great with each other and we are not seeing guys melting down on the sideline hollering for the ball. Each man knows his job and they are doing their jobs. I like Dez but frankly the guys would at times take himself out of the game because he could not control his own emotions and allowed that to effect his play on the field.
I think this is a HUGE deal that doesn't get the press it deserves. No one knows where this teeam will end up. But, it REALLY looks like the team is developing a selfless attitude as a whole. Coop gets the balls and the yardage and Zeke and CD are cool. Zeke gets the yards and the WR's are cool. CD gets the balls and Coop isn't throwing a fit. This is a really huge deal for an offense that is predicated on aggressively taking what the defense is giving.

Why are we comparing CD to Dez at all? Worse, comparing Brown or Wilson to CD? Like...other than they all play/played for the Cowboys, they have almost nothing in common. And...thinking we took CD at 17 was a poor pick? I don't mean to be ugly, buy I'm genuinely lost at the train of thought. CD's real value, aside from being a tremendous young talent, is that he also gives us options at the end of this year with Gallup and Cooper. And CD just smoked the Patriots. Like, it literally just happened.

Man...if we are going to question a pick...let's rehash some of the really questionable picks we've had in the last 4 or 5 years. Taco, for example. Let's beat that dead horse again. At least lamenting that pick makes sense even if it is old news.

Cee Dee Lamb was a steal falling as low as he did to the Cowboys. Will McClay fainted they had to throw ice water on him

This is an odd time to ask this question considering last week's game.

Also Lamb has 500 yards and 4 TD's so far this season... that's pretty dang good.
500 yards, and we're not even at the half-way point of the season.

I don't know how anyone can say he's overrated. He's in his second year, the first without a legitimate training camp. And he has to share the ball with Cooper, Zeke, Pollard, Wilson, Brown, Jarwin and Schultz.

Dez had Witten and T Williams and Beasley. And Dez couldn't run the entire route tree, which eventually got him ousted from Dallas. CeeDee isn't done yet.

Dez isnt a Hof'r because Tony Got injured, and Dak didnt trust getting him the ball. ...Hes the "Best" WR dallas has ever had statwise (I SAID STAT WISE).L

Now to address you question: Lamb just isnt a focal point. Dak spreads the ball. He doesnt force balls to anyone. Hes like Brady in that manner. So any Premier WR is almost overrated in this offense.

It’s odd that Dak has never developed any type of back shoulder throw. We’d be unstoppable if he had that tool in his toolbox.

Hoooo god!

Ya’ll don’t even post your true opinions anymore, y’all just post what you think will be a good thread.

This is like his 10th or 11th game with Dak & he hasn’t even entered his prime yet.

Just chill out a little bit

That is nothing compared to the 90 degree split second whole body change of direction that CeeDee made last year at the Vikings. Not even close. Dez's body was too big, thick and heavy to be able to do what CeeDee did.

Dez was able to elevate three feet off the ground with a 200 pound man holding onto him anbd two others under him knocking him off balance. One could easily say CeeDee's body is to skinny and frail to be able to do what Dez did. Let us appreciate the greatness of both men..

Dez was never on a Cowboy roster full of viable wide receivers. He was always the #1 target by far. Its apples and oranges in that regard. CD is averaging 83 yards a game, thats a pace for 1,400.

When Dez joined the Cowboys he was a teammate of a two time pro bowler in Miles Austin who had put up a combined 2400 yards and 19 TDs in 2009 and 2010 .. Let's not get carried away with revisionist history. Dez did not become the #1 in Dallas until Austin's hammies finally gave out for good.

I do appreciate both men and their talents. Just saying there is no way Dez could make the 90 degree sudden change of direction TD catch that CeeDee made against the Vikings.

My opinion is you need new glasses to watch the games through. Lamb is ballin.. Maybe the reason he doesn't make tough contested and spectacular catches is because.. well maybe he's open a lot and maybe his QB is putting the ball on the money. This reminds of when there was the big debate about whether Roger Staubach was better than Terry Bradshaw.. I would always ask people to tell me about all the spectacular catches Swann and Stallworth made and then compare them to the spectacular catches Pearson and Hill made.. Nobody could ever find any spectacular catches by Pearson and Hill.. because Roger didn't almost get them killed with off target throws 9 or 10 times a game.. Likewise Dak is getting his guys killed either..
Excellent point.
