nope. which is even more of a testament imo. no zack week one. no collins the following month, no gallup for two months, no tyron for a month, ceedee and amari out, zeke hobbled and a ton of that overlapped. at some point things really converge and become bigger than the sum of the parts. we rolled w/ some key inactives for the first two months. hit a rough patch where a whole lot of things seemed to stack and compound the issues. hoping this weekend is a turning point.
I thought Zack was out I just couldn't remember when it was week one you're right.

That we have been injured all year? Not sure if you are assuming that I am attacking the team I am not. I was saying this coming sunday will be the first time we see this team at full strength and it will be glorious
didn't read that far back just adding to those facts...but you are right pretty close on offense but defense might still be without Wilson who is important. But yes overall with 10 days rest and most of our guys back , should be a positive for sure..hopefully its buzz saw and we look a little close to the 6-0 run team.

one can hope and pray....

Exactly who I think about and man is it dreadful...some years a top 3 pick...some years a 1st overall pick and still screw up their 1st rounds lol..

3 Joe Thomas OT Wisconsin [26]
22 Brady Quinn QB Notre Dame [27]

3 Trent Richardson RB Alabama
22 Brandon Weeden QB Oklahoma State

8 Justin Gilbert CB Oklahoma State
22 Johnny Manziel QB Texas A&M

12 Danny Shelton DT Washington
19 Cameron Erving C Florida State

1 Myles Garrett * DE Texas A&M
25 Jabrill Peppers S Michigan
29 David Njoku TE Miami

1 Baker Mayfield * QB Oklahoma
4 Denzel Ward CB Ohio State

It gets fun when you get to the Raiders....I mean JUST A YEAR AGO the draft was a fail lol. Normally we wait 3 or 4 years to be able to do it.....

4 Clelin Ferrell DE Clemson
24 Josh Jacobs RB Alabama
27 Johnathan Abram S Mississippi State

12 Henry Ruggs WR Alabama
19 Damon Arnette CB Ohio State

yikes @ the raiders

interesting. care to qualify it? worse record, worse stats, w/ arguably a better o-line and the best running back in football. i'm gonna need some insight here. he's protected the ball better, but that's about it. hell Dak even has better volume stats despite playing 2 less games. completion pct, qbr, etc etc. what exactly are you basing this on?
There's more to it than just stats.

Dak may have a few more yards and a few more TD passes, but Wentz is playing to his teams strengths while Dak is trying to be Mahomes every week.

Also, record is a team stat, but either way the Cowboys have just 1 more win than the Colts do. Big whoop.

I predict the Colts are playing longer than the Cowboys this season and the main reason will be Wentz continuing to play within the system.

They are 7-6....I think they have to be disappointed with their return on investment even though his stats don't look bad.
Eagles I'm sure would've rather have kept him then get a late 1st rounder for him and screw their cap space up.

I'd probably say its a fail for both teams...Colts wanted Matthew Stafford and had to settle for Carson Wentz.

Its funny....the Colts are 3-1 in their last 4 games....in the 3 wins he didn't throw for more than 180 yards....in the loss he threw for 300 Yards that resulted in 2 interceptions....They take the ball out of his hands and they are winning.
I see your point.

But they knew this would be an effort at a reclamation project.....and not instant returns.

They've won 6 of their last 8 with the only 2 losses being close ones to Tennesee and Tampa Bay.
And any way we slant it, 23 Tds, 5 ints and a 97 Passer rating is more than solid.
They lean on the run game, as they should. I like Pittman, but they have a bottom 5 WR/TE group in the league.

Is it great? Definitely not, as he (like every other QB this year) has had 2-3 bad games.
And when I watch their games, I don't come away overly impressed---even in his "good" games.
But I suspect they are fairly happy right now, barring injury. A late 1st rounder for a "possible" long term starting QB

You know what's funny about that....I tried to find what have teams done who have had more than 1 1st round pick in a draft...its a depressing *** list. Its like the more picks you have the more screw ups you get lol. I mean some of the teams....they had a top 5 pick and still screwed it up lol.
I remember checking out the Browns draft picks back when we got Weeden. A bunch of top picks + some multiple #1s.

William Maclay. We’ve been drafting perfectly

Define 'perfectly'....We have absolutely not been perfect at drafting and far from it. Taco and LVE drafted 1st round back to back years. Go back a year and Jaylon was used as a very high 2nd rd pick. And that is just scratching the surface.

I dont understand the praise for Philly in this situation. Yes they obtained a mid to late 1st round pick, but Carson Wentz has developed into an actual QB now that he has left. I look at it more so as an inability of Philly to develop players in recent history. Most of their key players have been there for a long time or been trade/FA acquisitions. They literally had a quality QB and either couldnt develop him or couldnt surround him with the talent to be successful. Given their current situation i'm sure they would rather have a qb of Wentz numbers/abilities than the #20ish pick.
This is a good point. The Iggles have not been able to develop or maintain a good QB situation since Donovan.

We cannot get anything for players like Jaylon Smith when his tenure with the Pokes is over but the Eagles find a way to get a number one pick for an injured and questioning his abilities QB who was essentially run out of Philadelphia.

Jerruh, please hire a real GM because you and Stephen are just not cutting it. Your efforts during the past 25 years has been abysmal.

Indy won't be anywhere near the #1 pick. Prolly be DET or HOUS.

And the biggest gaffes are the ones we didn't take.

Holy typos and attention grabbing bold/color font in an attempt for attention. While the draft subject may be best in the draft zone, there is nothing wrong with someone looking to improve the long term prospects of the team by way of discussion.
Look, I don’t have a problem starting over between us. If you want to have a real discussion. Just leave the freaking insults aside

You should’ve seen the way we were drafting before him. Huge difference

See there you go. Insults. I don't cheerlead. I call it like I see it. Team plays bad. I criticize. Team plays well. I am happy. You have posted not one positive thing on this board since I have seen you on it. That's the difference. Should I report this insult? Or let it slide? I mean you run to the mods at any opportunity so I am just wondering.
He just can’t help it. LMAO. I wouldn’t mind having a conversation with the man. If he could just show a little bit of class

yeah i was curious what the “more” was. because even if you don’t value stats they’re a pretty clear metric to use for comparisons and he’s getting washed. wind was just because that’s another metric where if the stars didn’t make the case, maybe wins would (but his team is behind there too with an extra game) but sure, he’s handing the ball off effectively to a great running back, i’ll definitely cede that point.

I have over 100,000 posts from the original fan forum to this one. I’ve never put anyone on ignore. And I’ve never pressed the report button. It seems as the first thing some people do is report you. I don’t know what happened. Society maybe I’m missing something

I’m just saying it’s a lot of battling. I don’t hold grudges. Football is very emotional. Sometimes you just have to let things slide

Why would I care what someone else thinks? I am not afraid to speak my mind. I have no issues calling out jerry when he makes moves that I disagree with but anyone with an ounce of sense and see a lot of talent on this team and Jerry deserves credit for that as well. I have never been a person who is unwilling to call out bad moves but by the same token not afraid to give credit when it is due.
I was just kidding.
