Never saw him as head coach material and this confirms my suspicion. Lets just hope he can adjust better than he did the second half of this past season.

If I write him a letter of recommendation, can I get everyone here to sign it? lol

You're right, because teams are thinking "if this dude is able to have the #1 offense with Dak Prescott as his QB then he must be good!".

Dak is respected by most who know football. It’s mostly the casual fans like you that dig him. The Cowboys had the number one offense in 2020 until he got hurt. He’s put up some of the best numbers by any QB the past six years. He didn’t play well the last half of the season now Cowboys Nation is bashing him.

Exactly what I said about him. I don't see it at all.

But then again Tom Landry wasn't some huge personality either.
Neither was Grant, Dungy, Levy or is Payton.

Thise shots of him on the sideline looking like a lost mouth breather are hard for these GM's to get out of their heads. I know this isn't the case but he one of the dumbest looking coaches I have ever seen. He looks like Kellen Gump or Gomer Moore.

The dude is a dork. Anyone can see that.

He is also in way over his head as an OC.

But he is Jerry's pet project and will be back again for more of the same.

So will we.
I looked up the offensive rankings. It said that the Cowboys were 1st in offense and points scored per game. How can you say that he is a dork and over his head as OC?

“at least one hiring committee came away wondering if he has the commanding personality and leadership style to stand in front of an entire team and grab players’ attention.”

dang. it sucks for us. but I guess people realized he is not a genuis and he is very green to become head coach of a team.

When do you hear coaches talk bad about players in the media?

You don't know if he's respected or not because you're not behind closed doors hearing the truth. If you watch the games and know what you're seeing you can see just how much his abilities are not respected by opponents. They want him to pass the ball, because they do not respect him.

Kellen Moore is a genius for being able to get a Dak Prescott lead offense to #1 in the NFL.

The 56 and 51 point games against depleted WFT and Philadelphia teams helped those rankings. Moore's offenses in games against the Broncos, Chiefs, Cardinals, and 49ers was troubling. I don't think Moore is ready to be a head coach since he still has some work to do as an OC. Once teams figured out his attack by midseason he did a terrible job adjusting.

Many in the media who played and coached the game respect him. None of you were complaining about his play the first half of the season when he was playing at an MVP level. Even when his play dropped off the second half of the season his numbers were still up there and we won games. You’re really lost if you don’t think other players around the league respect him. You don’t like him we get it!

Payton being freed up might actually save us from Garrett 2.0. Praise be to the football gods. Though, I'm genuinely interested to know if Kellen's sudden lack of creativity was because of his own incompetence or meddling from above as previously reported.

I read somewhere that even if Moore was to leave, McCarthy wouldn’t install the Packers offense or call plays. If that’s true…why keep McCarthy??

I heard that too and they speculated had he left that they might go with Nussmeir calling plays.

I assumed he would not. Not even assistant hc. He needs to not abandon the run. And I don’t think he likes drew up any plays. The further in the season the more vanilla and predictable he became.. He needs to work on game planning on teams weaknesses. It appeared at the first that he was, but I guess when your winning then everything is working.. He is not attacking the seam or quick throws or Dak is audible out..

Key words: "In the media"

They're not going to tell you how they really feel about someone. They play the respect game in public. They can say it through the media all they want, but on Sundays their game plan is to stop the run and make Dak pass the ball because they do not respect his abilities. Their actions show how they really feel. Talk is cheap.

Maybe not publicly, but he ruled the locker room and put the fear of God into many of his players.

Moore is extremely privileged to have an OC job. As Kurt exposed, he can’t beat a simple zone defense.

Told the Arlington Jonesboys fans that no one in the NFL is dumb as Jerry Dumbo GM Jones when it comes to football.
