Never saw him as head coach material and this confirms my suspicion. Lets just hope he can adjust better than he did the second half of this past season.
You're right, because teams are thinking "if this dude is able to have the #1 offense with Dak Prescott as his QB then he must be good!".
Neither was Grant, Dungy, Levy or is Payton.Exactly what I said about him. I don't see it at all.
But then again Tom Landry wasn't some huge personality either.
I looked up the offensive rankings. It said that the Cowboys were 1st in offense and points scored per game. How can you say that he is a dork and over his head as OC?The dude is a dork. Anyone can see that.
He is also in way over his head as an OC.
But he is Jerry's pet project and will be back again for more of the same.
So will we.
“at least one hiring committee came away wondering if he has the commanding personality and leadership style to stand in front of an entire team and grab players’ attention.”
Well crap
When do you hear coaches talk bad about players in the media?Dak is respected by most who know football. It’s mostly the casual fans like you that dig him. The Cowboys had the number one offense in 2020 until he got hurt. He’s put up some of the best numbers by any QB the past six years. He didn’t play well the last half of the season now Cowboys Nation is bashing him.

You don't know if he's respected or not because you're not behind closed doors hearing the truth. If you watch the games and know what you're seeing you can see just how much his abilities are not respected by opponents. They want him to pass the ball, because they do not respect him.
Kellen Moore is a genius for being able to get a Dak Prescott lead offense to #1 in the NFL.
I read somewhere that even if Moore was to leave, McCarthy wouldn’t install the Packers offense or call plays. If that’s true…why keep McCarthy??
Key words: "In the media"Many in the media who played and coached the game that respect him. None of you were complaining about his play the first half of the season when he was playing at an MVP level. Even when his play dropped off the second half of the season his numbers were still up there and we won games. You’re really lost if you don’t think other players around the league respect him. You don’t like him we get it!

Maybe not publicly, but he ruled the locker room and put the fear of God into many of his players.

YESSo does that mean we are stuck with him?![]()
