I don't threaten them because they say something stupid once or twice. Its when they continually toss the insults, so i offer them the opportunity to do it in person, not consistently behind a keyboard.

People like that have so much energy behind that keyboard, but are afraid to take advantage of that up close and personal opportunity they're afforded.

With that said, i understand everything else you said and thats fine. That last part you typed was really unnecessary though and leads right to what i was talking about. You give off the vibes of those few im talking about.

That says all I need to know....
But only if you just had the wisdom....to let those things go...as part of the ticket....we both would find it unnecessary to toss the "all i need to know" insult around.

You might have the might...fine..whatever. You don't know who's typing. But...discretion IS the better part of valor. Not telling you what to do.....but dude....just ignore them man. They...are pushing YOUR buttons.

All the ones that criticize him come here and have an agenda to do it every day. Every time we lose a game you and poopy are playing tag team trashing Dak in one thread after another. You two are always pointing the finger at him. I’ve given you enough of my time today.
When we lose I trash anyone that deserves it including coaches, kickers, owners, and what not.

All I ask is keep that same W/L is a QB stat energy when things aren't going well, but I'd probably change that mentality if I was you, because with that mindset it's solely Dak's fault if we don't win. You're only setting yourself up for failure with that mindset.

One playoff win in 5 full seasons. P. Manning and Brees only had one playoff win in their first 5 season too, Stafford had zero....

Enough said to them too lil guy???
And see this is why I ssay you cherry pick your stats. What about Mahommes? I'm pretty football dumb I'd have to go look for others. But you and I know they are there. But...you cherry picked stats to prove yourself right. See what I mean?

I never see you criticize anyone but Dak when we lose. You point every finger at him!
Nope...he does not. Mountaineer doesn't need nor necessarily want my help....but you only see what you want to see.

The first game of the season? Really?

Did you see the New Orleans game? Our passing game was atrocious.

New England was average. Nothing special about that defense at all.
exactly , and in the Tampa game , he missed so many open receivers and threw errant passes, again in a losing effort. some fans are so delusional

There's no way you can remember who said what from months ago. There's no way that you can remember what I personally said after games. There's so many people talking about the games that remembering what 1 person says is impossible.

This particular poster, as you can see from our back and forth, admittingly believes W/L is a QB stat.

When you're a big Dak guy like he is you're only setting yourself up for failure, because anything less than a Super Bowl win is a failure solely on Dak Prescotts shoulders with that mindset. Why you would foolishly want that kind of burden placed on a player that you go to battle for so much is beyond me, but hey, to each their own I suppose.

After every loss the Dak haters come out in full force and you and poopydog are leading the charge. Most of your postings are Dak related…fact!

Had we not re-signed Dak we would have an awful QB situation right now and 99.9% of the fans would be miserable! We would be going through the same hell we went through from 2000 to 2005 trying to find a QB. I can assure you the majority of the Dak haters weren’t following the team in the early 2000s. No long time Cowboys fan would want to go through the Steve Pulleur/Gary Hogeboom/Quincy Carter years again. Not to mention all the duds we tried replacing those QBs with.

I was in the camp of “ tag him and draft or sign a cheaper option”. The FO waited to long and basically left them selves with no option but to pay him this mammoth contract…..I don’t care what a man makes if he’s worth the salary cap implications.

I’m on record as saying we can win with Dakota providing the rest of the team can really step up because we are not getting Arron Rodgers- like performances from Rayne Dakota, any time soon….it’s not what he’s capable of

There you go lumping anyone that criticizes Dak under 1 umbrella thinking that they all say the same things.

That is a very simplistic way of looking at it. You should judge each person by what they say after the games. Don't think that because I criticize Dak today that I wouldn't praise him for playing well when he does. Because I have done just that. I had him as the MVP last season through 6 weeks then everything fell apart.

Here's just an example of what I do after games. Here is a thread I made after the Tampa game last year.

Notice what my very 1st point was.....

1. Dak was great. He wasn't rusty. He didn't look injured. He impressed the heck out of me and I think the team is in great hands with him at QB.

2. The O-Line played MUCH better than expected without Martin.

3. Zeke was a non factor. I didn't expect to do much in the run game, but I expected more than what we did. He still looks slow and stuck in the mud, but hopefully that was more of the Bucs run D than our running game.

4. The defense was better, not great, but better. They held up great in the run game and was even able to force a few turnovers which was a great sight to see.

5. Micah looked like a rookie, but he's only going to get better. This was his first game game in a long time, so he's only going to get better as the season goes on.

6. We have the best WR group on the NFL. Cooper was just outstanding and showed that he is a top receiver in the league. Gallup played as expected. He made his catches when they came his way. CeeDee made the most mistakes but he still had a great game overall.

7. Diggs took Evans out of the game. Evans was nonexistent all game. I think we have a legit shut down corner with him.

8. Anthony Brown. My Goodness. He was by far the worst player on the field for either team. He gave up play after play and seemed like anytime the Bucs caught a big pass Brown was the guy that gave it up.

9. The refs. I can't be THAT upset with them. I thought it was an overall good called game. I hate that PI that didn't get called, but we also got some calls go our way that probably didn't have to be called. So it even out in the end, even though not all penalties are created equal.

10. The D-Line doesn't get enough pressure. Brady was getting rid of the ball quickly, but on the plays that he wasn't we didn't get enough pressure on him. That has got to improve and it might just be a product of the Bucs good O-Line.

11. Greg the Leg could be a problem. He can't be trusted. Yeah, he made the kick at the end, but that missed extra point and FG in the first half was the difference in a win and a loss. The FO should seriously be considering bringing in another kicker.

12. Kellen Moore. I thought for the most part the coaches had a good game plan. I HOPE Kellen Moore doesn't decide to throw the ball like that every game, but I believe all those pass plays was the result of not having much success with the run game rather than him just wanting to be pass happy. We'll see.

13. McCarthy. Please don't try and 60 yard field goal again with time left on the clock. That could have been bad. It wasn't, but it easily could have been. Be smarter.

Overall, I believe we showed that we can compete with the best in the league. It came down to the wire and we stood toe to toe with the champs. They had all 22 starters from the Super Bowl back and we gave them all they could handle. It was Week 1 with most of our guys playing no preseason at all. We're only going to get better from here. That game should give anyone optimism going forward. We have a lot to work with here and I see this, barring injury, being a great season for us.

Notice I praised Dak and condemned others.

They count yes, just like Daks count, but if you can't see the skill and talent difference between Dak and Herbert then you're not wanting to see it.

Stats are not the end all be all when it comes to a player. If players were evaluated simply by their stats then Josh Allen would have never been drafted.

I'm just trying to follow you guys here. One minute we knock Dak for beating up on practice squad players but the next we use the "eye test" to determine Herbert is better. If we're comparing the first two years of their career...I'd say I'm more impressed with Herbert. But even with as impressive as he's been he's not making the playoffs two years straight.....and its not like he's on a crap team. Chargers year in and out seem to always be favorites to make the playoffs and never do anything including the Phillip Rivers years.

I think I just need to see more from Herbert to determine how good he is in this league. Same goes for Burrow even though I know he just came from a SB.

You did that after the Tampa Bay game for sure. I do remember that. But I bet that's the last example you can give lol. You sure didnt' do any of that after that game.

What's the bet?

This is after the Eagles game week 3 last year....

1. Dak played great again. He didn't make any mistake, was efficient, and just overall played a solid game. He should have no problems winning the come back player of the year.

2. I'm super impressed with the defense. These guys were outplaying the offense for the majority of the game and that's a great sight to see considering how well the offense was playing.

3. McCarthy and his bone head clock management is just mind boggling. This is 2 weeks in a row that he has allowed precious time to just go off the clock. This week was even more mind boggling. You allow basically 2 mins, with 2 time outs, to just go away? That is inexcusable.

4. Diggs is playing like an All Pro. That's it.

5. Parson is, once again, proving to be the best linebacker AND the best defensive lineman on the team. He is a force and I am ecstatic that we have him on our team. Him and Diggs are culture changers.

6. The run game was great again. I wish Zeke could have gotten his 100 yards, but he was close enough. Pollard is still making the most of his carries, although I'd personally like to see him get more. I feel like we could have buried them even more if we would've just kept running the ball.

7. The offensive line had their hiccups in pass protection, but overall once again played great football. I have no complaints in that department.

8. The defense forcing turnovers is a beautiful thing. It's just wonderful to watch them actually try to get the ball instead of just trying to make a tackle.

9. I'm still not happy with the red zone play calling. I feel like Kellen Moore tries to get too cute with reverses or tries to pass the ball too much. Zeke and Pollard were running at will. Pound the rock and make them stop us. Even though I still believe Dak got in with that sneak, the ball still should have went to Zeke.

10. I'm digging using the offensive lineman as a full back to block. That is some creative stuff that we're not used to seeing.

Overall a great performance. I wanted a blow out and that's what was delivered. I don't believe the Eagles are a good team and what we did to them is what you're supposed to do against bad teams. I think we still have a lot of work to do. It's only Week 3. I think we're clearly the best team in the division though and I look forward to see more improvement every week.

Wins are a team stat.

Daks rookie year the Cowboys went 13-3 while Dak threw for 23 TDs and 3,600 yards.
Herberts rookie year the Chargers went 6-9 with him while Herbert threw for 31 TDs and 4,300 yards

However, Dak had 3 1st team All-Pro linemen and a RB that won the rushing title by over 300 yards.
Herberts leading rusher had 530 yards.

If you cannot see the difference there and still want to make believe Dak is better because of a team stat like W/L then by all means, go wild, but I'll choose the uber talented guy instead.

Herbert also had Keenan Allen

But either way. You're football intelligence is lacking, In each of their rookie seasons Herbert through the ball 100 more times than Dak, Herbert threw the ball damn near 600 times in 15 games. Dak came into an offense who's philosophy was to run the ball (coaches Philosophy) Herbert came in on a passing team.
Next when Dak threw the ball the same or close to the same times as Herbert which was twice guess what. Dak threw 30 and 37 tds, 10 and 11 ints. Herbert threw 31 on 596 att. And it took him 672 att. To hit 38 tds, Dak hit 37 tds on 596 att. With less ints and a better comp%.

I'll sit back and see how you spin this
