Someone else posted a similar reply and I’ll tell you what I told him….if you think Eagles won that ring because of Foles……then you are sadly mistaken. Lol Just because Trent Dilfer and Brad Johnson won the same number of Super Bowls that Brett Favre did doesn’t mean they’re on the same level. Someone actually needs to explain that to you? Trent Dilfer and Brad Johnson never won a single league MVP. Brett Favre won three MVPs. Trent Dilfer and Brad Johnson will never sniff the Hall of Fame because they were average QBs who were carried to a championship by a great defense. A lot of QBs won Super Bowls that weren’t even remotely close to the level of Brett Favre.

Never like favres style. He does have fun but I always felt when playing them he would do something to let you back in the game. Always trying to be a hero even when it's not needed. Although I liked Romo, the fact that Favre was his idol was my least favorite thing about him. Too many mistakes trying to be special in them wrong moment.

That's not to say they weren't good but I prefer the QB be more protective of possession. I think that was one of the biggest reasons for Daks early success.

it was just an example that we can all appreciate. Dakota nor Romo compare to Favre. As far as deflecting to prop up Romo, his playoff record of 2-4 speaks for itself…..I won’t defend that for any reason.
