The OL has major suckage. Not Zekes fault that he gets hit at the line of scrimmage, we see that constantly. Open some holes and Zeke will be fine imo.

12 carries, 31 yards (2.6 YPC) in the playoffs vs San Francisco.

Fewer than 4 YPC in 8 of his last 10 games.

“But he was injured!!!”

Then why did he get 18 carries in a meaningless Week 18 game, just so he could reach 1,000 yards for the season?

Because he either sucks or he’s incredibly selfish, or both.

I can see neither Pollard or Zeke being here next year. Pollard will want more money than Stephen will want to pay, and Zeke will have his Zeke season, start fresh and struggle on the back nine with fatigue and injuries, coupled with an OL that is not overpowering folks. Dallas will see what they have in Davis and probably draft a RB in top 3 rounds.

I agree, Pollard is def a goner but with Zeke, it depends on what's left in the tank. I think it's why Jerry said he needs to be the focal point of the offense. Something I'm fairly certain of, is they want a COMPLETE starting RB. It's all about protecting Dak IMO.

Yea when he started coming in out of shape it showed me he wasn't what I thought he was.
Totally agree. Guy had it all. Wasted it. Now 27 and looking like he might be shot. Amazing. He isn’t even in the conversation of top backs anymore.

I think Zeke will get 1300+ yards in 2022. The Cowboys will want to restructure. If he says no, THEN they’ll cut him. They have the leverage.

I do not believe this is Zeke’s last year unless he stinks. If he stinks I could see it. If he stays healthy and produces…..he will be here even if they have to restructure.

I agree. Or if he gets hurt and cannot play at 100% again. I think if he has any kind of season they will hang on to him for 1 more year even though they have an opportunity to shed his contract after this season.

He's literally the slowest skill position player on the roster other than the QBs.
And you’ll be able to tell really early this season.

If he turns everything up inside instead of around end that will be the proof in the pudding.

It all hinges on this season.

Right. Dallas could restructure his contract if he has a big year. The Cowboys could even sign Pollard for the amount they'd save in cap space if they wanted to. I have a hard time seeing both backs here next year, but which one stays is to be determined. It could be neither.

It's anyone's guess what this FO does at RB.

This. They know Pollard is more explosive. They're fine with not using that because Zeke is better at blocking and picking up the blitz.
