Zeke said it, not us.

Don't get mad at the fans, get mad at Zeke for just now deciding that he's ready to make a deep playoff run.

Yup. The correct thing to say is "I'm tired of losing, and I'm ready to make a deep run in the playoffs." But I guess what he said is more fitting on this team.

Easy.

He could have said my motivation is the same now as it's always been and that's winning and reaching our goals as a team.

You cover all bases with that then you don't have fans like me saying "Oh, so NOW you're ready, huh?!?!"

Did he indicate in his statement that this was the first time he has desired a deep playoff run and championship?

And if he said what you believe he should have, and the media asked him specifically what goals the team was trying to accomplish, and he said go on a deep playoff run and win a super bowl, would that have been a bad response?

What's it going to be then, eh?

Now, now. Take a deep breath.

Ahh.
It is not that Zeke is not allowed to be positive.

But fans here are a lot smarter than to buy into that yearly bag of sheet tha Jerry, Dak and Zeke spout --- what a coincidence! --- every year about this time.
Show me the moves, Zeke, you washed-up mass of souet on me maple tree....

But to be clear, JC academics and farm implement conventioneers, Zeke deserves and should be allowed to spout cheerleader schtuff.

But, too, allow fans the grace to roll their yellowish eyeballs.

Thus, we appreciate your efforts but you are well compensated well, I hear.
Thus and hence, be brave, Cowboys. Be youthful and positive but never overconfident.
Forward, boys, don't step there where the horses were bedded...biscuits and tea at 11.
Well said, this illustrates the laughter spewed on the Sports Talk shows about the Cowboy fandom. Well said.

I didn't say "I was ready then too" so we can only go off what he said.

No, your ignorance of what he is saying leads you and others to misleading comments. Us as fans are not privy to every conversation on the field, in the gym, locker room etc. The dislike for the player, blinds any benefit in his behalf.

The thing is..aren;t we all "ready"? Should zeke say he ISN'T ready?

My take is not to add the "now" part to it like others did. But saying he's had it as much as the rest of us.

It's an interesting bit of psychology watching these people spin it how they want so they can tear him up.

Oh I see...he didn;t say it exactly as you demand he say it. So therefor we have to add the "now" part and make SURE we spin it as negatively as we possibly can. Got it.
