To be fair we dont know what MM is about without A-Rod, he does like the west coast offense and I'm sure we will see a variation of it....The good thing is if this doesnt work i see a pretty big change comming to this team. Its kinda what we all have asked for over the last 30 years, if you cant win with it then scrap it and start over.

This means nothing. McCarthy is calling the plays. All Schottenheimer gets is a title change from "consultant" to " coordinator" because somebody had to be the OC in name.

I guess his job will be organizing Big Mike's playcall sheets before every game.

I'm also assuming Mike wanted him specifically because they're aligned 'philosophically', which a plus for overall coordination of the offense. It is disappointing though we won't have a new voice in Daks ear

They still need a new QB's coach so hopefully the new voice comes from there.
