Is he suspended from NFLN? I haven't seen anything from them. Just because they sent him home doesn't mean he's suspended. I think they are buying time to sort this out. If Irvin is the harmed party here and innocent, they should be suing Marriott as well.
Did he lose any payment from his employer over this incident? I didn't see anything anywhere mentioned.

The reality is EVERYONE IMO rushed to a knee jerk reaction due to something that someone said and happened within all whopping 24 hours.

Translation, no one knows what was actually said or happened for 45 seconds or so....

Post something very stupid on facebook, and depending on your job, very good odds you will need a lawyer LMAO
those who use social media regularly are attention seekers and have issues. I have family that posts their daily life goings on, on there. I never will understand that. I feel folks get exactly what they deserve if they are dumb enuff to use social media all the time. Make 1 mistake, and like u said, its all she wrote.

There's a simple solution. Don't get hammered on a work trip and act boorishly.
Sincere question...what is your definition of "hammered" and did anyone determine how "hammered" Irvin was?

I believe the answer to that question is no.

I was just recently out in Scottsdale for a business trip. I stayed at the hotel bar and had two rum and cokes and a white wine over a period of about 3 hours while talking with people. Am I hammered?

Irvin is almost as embarrassing as those of you unconditionally supporting him
My support level has conditions, I cant speak for others. Heck if my 20 something year old kids do something dumb, the same applies. It all depends what it is I guess.

Irvin himself said he was drinking and doesn't remember anything. That's hammered in my book.

Completely agree with you (and I have relatives like yours LOL),

My point is news via electronic means.

ANYONE says YOU were doing something electronically, you could be crucified online by 5 thousand people before you even know it the next day, even if the story was a fabrication.

yeah, if ted bundy played for us and was a great receiver, we wouldn't believe he killed anybody. "show us the bodies, where's the video of him killing anybody" "free Teddy".
Charles Manson would be a better example. He didn't actually kill anyone, that we know of. Imagine the debate in here? "Free Charlie".

And some men take advantage of women. And there seems to be a preponderance of evidence on that side of it.

Do you know anything about this woman? Conclusions are being jumped to, on both sides, without enough real information.

You could be right and this was a set up, for what I don't know, but there is more to this than we know at this time.
People mock women for not coming forward. Try taking on the rich and powerful yourselves, folks.

Get called a liar, *****, tramp etc.

That's why many plaster on a smile and politely leave when in that situation. Then later may become emboldened to say something. She didn't wait 20 years obviously.

And people here talking about the "good old days" when women were simply flattered by the attention.

The old days I remember were grown men acting like gentlemen not drunken frat boys.

As I mentioned before, stating you "you don't remember anything" at the point of questioning by anyone is a smart legal play IMO.

Yesterday, what did I do?

Went to the office for work, came home, sent off some emails, picked up my mower for service, worked the compost pile, collected leaves for the compost pile. Now, ask me what was exactly said during my office trip, at the mower shop (owner who I know very well) and what my wife and I specifically talked about, I honestly don't remember and have to think about it.

Irvin IMO honest opinion was honest with his answer. Thing is, we're assuming he doesn't remember anything, but is that not remembering the entire night? Or who you were with and exactly what was said?

If he was really "hammered", I'm certain more people would be coming out saying he was drunk, slurring his speech and couldn't walk straight.

Had my boss ask me last week about an incident last year. Told him I honestly didn't remember the exact circumstances. Took me a couple of days and thinking about it, it hit me on what was actually said and done, and the same thing for my co worker (he didn't remember what I thought I did, but after a day, he told me he remembered it, and it was pretty much my story). Peoples memory and exactly what they remember and when can be a tricky science. This is one of many reasons why eyewitness accounts taken "on the spot" of an event can be misleading. Lots of people were hung because of what one person said what they saw, believing the eyewitness.

Only hard evidence is the video, and unless you can hear the conversation, I'm learning towards nothing happened.

He said in the beginning too about not even being there. Then the video came out and he changed his story to I don't remember I was drinking.

So either lying or drunk. Or both.

And there was no "smart legal play" by Irvin. He went on talk shows and said things that no doubt made his lawyer cringe. Stupid. Then his lawyers were able to get hold of him and take over with the lawsuit. Notice he's silent now?

Can you please post the news story where Irvin said about not even being there? Everything I've seen, don't recall seeing that.

Considering he was actually staying at the hotel, not certain how he claimed he wasn't even there.

The cocaine indictment was also included with that . Not sure how you missed that .

And I can list all of his sexual assault and rape charge accusations if you like.

Absolutely, that would be relevant and make your case, unrelated drug charges won't.

You can research it I'm not doing discovery on his case lol

It was on the original thread of this topic. And not being there doesn't mean the entire hotel.

He went out and had a few drinks and a woman stops in in the hotel. All on video and he never touched her. People saw them talking and said seemed ok. No one knows what was said. He said she said. She will drop this.
