I'll say it again history tells us that every time 3 QB's are taken in the first 3 picks of a draft 1 makes it.... not goes to the HOF just makes a decent starting QB in the NFL the other 2 or 98% usually straight out busts...

It doesn’t mean he’s going to be as good as them. We’ll see after the college season where he ranks. Trevor Lawrence, was the fifth highest rated QB to ever enter the NFL draft and he still hasn’t lived up to his draft hype. He’s only thrown 37 TDs in his first two seasons. That’s the same number Dak threw for in 2021.

Ironically, this will give you a better chance at finding a QB like Mahomes than if you stand pat with a QB who can't get it done or keep spinning your wheels at 8-8 type records because you are afraid of a down year or two while you try to acquire a franchise QB through the draft.

Just about every team has found one at one point or another. Some fracnhises like the Cowboys have even had more than one in their history.

And guess what? Nearly every one of those franchise QBs were acquired with a high draft pick. That is just how it works.

its not about being scared to try. in order to get one of those you have to suck. then you get a top 5 pick and then you hope that year an elite QB comes out. lets not forget half the pundits here wanting Mahomes, didn't think he was going to be good, so that tells you about how good they are evaluating elite QBs....
and then you go 3,4 or 5 years sticking with your top pick. and then wash, rinse repeat. given 8 out of 10 of the top 15 QBs fail to be elite. then there is 80% probability you won't find one. should you not try? yes, you should try. but what do you expect a team that went 12-5 and second round of playoff to do? blow it up because a few fans can't wrap their heads around team making it to the superbowl without elite QBs? just see Philly. they did it. SF did it. its knowing how to build a team.

exactly my point.....its out inability to build a team around a good QB, so the answer is blow it up and get a top 5 pick. and what is our confidence in this FO picking the right QB. and the right team around that elite QB to have a chance.

I would rather throw darts until we hit on a QB than the status quo.
