Thing is with Luepke is he’s more of a big RB than a outdated fullback. Not going to be a burner but his footwork is sneaky good for a back of his size. He should be given more chance in the RZ

Luepke is steadily becoming one of my favorite players. Just a hard nosed, no nonsense north south runner.

I hope Dowdle is okay, but if he misses time I would like to see Luepke get more touches.

They certainly need to try Luepke in the RZ for a while.
I can't say I love how high he runs, but he does have a good 1 cut style for the RZ.
If he isn't the answer, they need to go sign a vet back because it is a real issue with TP back there and Deuce isn't at all viable in RZ right now.

Literally nothing about Luepke's TD had anything to do with size/power. It was a big hole and he was untouched lol. It was a decent run to see the hole I guess but that's...the bare minimum. Every RB in the NFL should score on that.

I agree with this premise. Let him pound it in, catch passes in the flat, and maybe inside shuffle passes when inside the 5. Making the other team defend that will open it up for everyone else.
