Not sure why you have such a problem with Cooper Rush. Maybe the defense was able to capitalize on Cooper maintaining the bus, instead of turning it over for points or 3 n outs.

Yes...you are RIGHT...defense was hot. And Cooper did nothing to hurt it either...he deserves credit for it as a #2 QB. He did his job remarkably well, whether you like it or not.

At this point I think the only way Dallas trades Dak is if they get a similar package the Lions got from the Rams for Matthew Stafford. That means at least a 1st and 2nd in 2024, a 1st and a later pick in 2025, and a 2nd in 2026.

Sounds steep but teams needing a franchise QB will pull the trigger on that deal, especially if they have tradeable assets themselves that can get some of those picks back.

Nobody us paying that for Dak. Nobody is paying anything in the same universe as that.

Dak is Kirk Cousins. Dak is not Matt Stafford. Stafford has one of the greatest arms in league history...up there with Favre, Elway and Marino as far as arm talent.

Dak has an average at BEST arm compared to the current NFC teams...much less historically. Dak isn't special.

ignoring the fact that nobody and I mean nobody in the NFL thinks Rush is anything, else if anyone of the 31 teams did, they had two chances to get him to just be their backup when he was on practice squad and nobody did. cooper rush didn't lead the team to win. he wasn't the difference for winning. the defense was. if we would build a defense that could play at a high level consistently, against every team, then I go with Dilfer at QB and probably get into CCG. he is lucky to be on this team.
