Discipline and toughness should be a boxes checked off on the scouting report prior to drafting said individual.

But I hated the player prior to the draft, I hated the pick and I still don’t like it. We were not in a position to draft a project OL player with the state of the OL.

This is like Mazi not liking football. All these guys want to do is collect checks. BTW Ian Fitzsimmons hinted at some of this before and during the draft. Hope the young man finds the dedication and fortitude to fulfill his enormous potential. I also agree McClay is league average at best although working for Jerry doesn't make it easy. For now anyway he fits right in here..............soft.

Don’t believe everything you hear. Today I saw Broaddus hint that someone with the team simply said that Guyton has some growing up to do. That could mean anything, most of it bad, but maybe a rookie with a sore neck and shoulder shouldn’t be asked to play when he’s not at full strength. I was happy to see Richards finally on the field.

Where did you see that?

I read Tyler Guyton, an offensive tackle from Oklahoma, said he wanted to leave the 2024 Senior Bowl feeling happy and confident that he achieved his goals.

What’s the source of them saying this? Neither tweeted anything about it.
It was also reported that Guyton was very limited in practice all week with a neck/shoulder injury.

Seems highly unlikely (pretty much 0% chance) anybody within the medical/training staff told the 2 radio hosts that Guyton is fine and doesn’t have an injury.
