A Tale of Two QB's

The Rams tried to win with Goff, they couldn't and understood that. They shipped him off the Detroit. The same would have happened if they had Dak instead of Goff. Some guys have it, others don't. Neither Goff nor Prescott will ever win a title or at least their team won't be winning because of them. Neither of them possesses that extra bit of grit to get it done even when everything is falling apart around them.

I do think that historically Dak has been worse against the zone. He'd throw a tick late and give up picks from the defender in the zone the WR was running into.

a) Less conservative 'scripted plays', use best plays from the start.
b) I never said Dak wasn't good against the blitz, go read it again....I'd prefer teams to blitz.
No, he struggles vrs 2-high zone, especially when there's post snap movement from a Safety 'coming down'

Dak scrambled? Go look again, suggest all 22, little to no scrambling after 2020.

Not really.

People like myself are still smarting from the Cowboys not drafting Jalen Hurts on a rookie contract in the 2nd round instead of Diggs as suggested. Superbowl MVP over Dak. Painful.

The point people seem to miss about Rush and Dalton isn't that anyone wanted them at quarterback but that the Cowboys actually had a better team record with them than Dak which speaks volumes as Rush is a practice squad QB whilst Dalton was completely washed. In other words Dak isn't a difference maker in any way. He goes as the team carries him.

When your GM has no accountability, neither does your Franchise QB. Expect Dak at least another 3-4 years unless same thing happens to him that did Romo.
