Ware had his time and now it's over for him in Dallas. Just like the rest of that small crew of 8n8s

And that's fine. With or without those 15 sacks it won't make the Cowboys much better or worse.

We are not going to the Superbowl next year. By the time this team is ready D. Ware will be a shell of himself.

And those 15 sacks still wouldn't be worth over $12 mil in base salary for this season.

Did Jerry say "The offer is 6M, come back if you don't get a better offer".

How about cut that POS Brandon Carr?.......Cut Austin. Let Spencer walk. You just don't cut your best pass rusher that has only missed 3 games. Hell I would have cut that walking piece of glass Sean Lee before I parted ways w/ Ware.

Best pass rusher? Ware had 6 sacks last year. He USED to be our best pass rusher. He no longer is and he is wearing down. I hope he has a better season next year and gets a good deal from someone but its time to part ways.

I hate to break it to you guys but we are not going to win the Super Bowl this next season. We would not win it if we kept Ware and will not win it without him. Its time to get younger and get the cap under control and todays move was a necessary step to accomplish that.

Cowboys owner and General Manager Jerry Jones released the team’s longtime star pass rusher DeMarcus Ware today, but Jones said Ware’s days in Dallas aren’t necessarily over.

Jones released a statement shortly after the decision to cut Ware became official, saying that Ware would be open to coming back, and the Cowboys would be open to bringing him back.

I think if he doesnt get the number that would be more then what the Cowboys were willing to give him. He will be back. Under the contract he had he was most likely gone next yr.

I don't see him coming back.

Plus now that he's been released and the cap charges are figured in, resigning the guy for $6 mil + the associated cap charges are about the same as what the overall cap charges would have been by keeping him... In other words basically a wash this season.

Again, you have to deal with the dead money. 8.5 million accelerated against the cap already. Even if you sign him for 4 million that is a total of 12.5 million. His original cap hit was 16 million...

He isn't going to be brought back.
