Bend but don't break isn't going to get it done with this defense that will be facing Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers they cause a lot of defenses to break. We saw what a one legged Aaron Rodgers did to the defense in the playoffs last season. If our pass rush suffers it's going to put more pressure on our secondary minus Scandrick.

No body knows how this defense is going to be yet. By the time we play Brady and Rodgers, we get Hardy and Ro and most likely Gregory back.

I'm willing to bet our pass rush and our defense is going to be much better with those guys than the one we had last year when we played GB.

Romo's receivers still have to do their job and the backs have to provide a running game or he'll still have to shoulder a lot of the load. Russell Wilson has a great defense but he also has a great RB to take some pressure off him. Having a great back helps open up opportunities in the passing game for Seattle despite not having great WR's.

It's a given that others around the team has to do their job. That's why it's ridiculous to say, "Romo" has to carry the team as though it's all his fault we lose games. He can only throw and hand the ball off to them. He can't catch or run for them or stop other offense from scoring.

The D has to be better or at least it should be when we get those players back but it may take Hardy a few games to get into the flow with all the time he's missed. I know he played some in preseason but he's going to have to get in game shape with a month off not working with the team. With Gregory we just have to hope this injury doesn't linger and he doesn't aggravate it when he returns. The Cowboys have to figure out how to hang in until they get these players back because the first half of the schedule appears to be the toughest.

I've never put it all on Romo even when he had to carry the team like all QB's he needs help. If a QB is having to carry their team it's not fair to put it all on the QB I put it on the players around them for not stepping up. Many on this board are critical of Andrew Luck but he doesn't hae a very good team around him. It's all pretty much on him and if he doesn't play well the Colts get thumped.

We have a bye before the NE game so that should help with Gregory. Hardy can ease in to game shape by limiting his snaps.

Regardless, I'll still take 70% Hardy over 100% Selvie or whoever else he is going to replace from last year.

I don't think the Cowboys will ease Hardy in they may only have him for 12 games and they're going to need a lot of snaps from him. I expect them to throw him in as soon as he's back and leave him out there.

Have you seen the Colts vs Buffalo last week? Go check Luck's stats and tell me how many INTS he has. Luck also benefits from playintg the Titans, Texans and Jaguars twice a year.

Romo has the most game winning drives since 2006. No QB can win every game on the last drive. Last drive he has to try to score because the defense just gave up an easy score.

I'm sure they'll see how much shape he is in before making that decision. One good thing about our defense is that it is built on a DLine rotation. I doubt they'll just stick Hardy in when he is gassed and ineffective just get our money's worth.

He had a couple of picks playing against a what appears to be a real solid Bills defense. Luck is a terrific QB and the Colts wouldn't win 3-4 games without him. Romo has never played on a Cowboys team that lacks the talent the Colts do. Luck also has a bad OL that Romo wouldn't survive behind.

Hardy's career may only last 12 games with the Cowboys and I expect them to try and get every snap they can out of him. It's not like they're having to protect some big investment with him. The Cowboys need a pass rush and I expect we'll see a lot of Hardy the first game he's eligible.

Luck has good receivers. As good as what Romo had in 2010-2012. Dez wasn't what he is now in 2010-2012. And go back and look at the roster Romo had to work with on the OLine in 2010-2013.

As I said, if he is being ineffective because he is not in football shape, I doubt they'll keep him in long. Regardless of if he wants to be in there or not.

Luck started with a 2-14 team and turned the Colts into an 11-5 playoff team after only one season. Luck has gotten the Colts to the playoffs 3 straight seasons and has won 3 playoff games including a trip to the AFC title game last season. Luck has little running game ever since he got to Indy causing him to have to attempt well over 600 passes last season. The one and only time Romo had to attempt over 600 passes it led to a career high 19 int's and an 8-8 record. Romo's had much better teams than Luck.

The Cowboys will play him into shape.

That 2-14 team went 12-6, 14-2 and 10-6 three years before that. It wasn't some bad team that had a losing season record for long time. It just didn't have a NFL caliber QB when they went 2-14.

To say that team Luck took over was bad is completely wrong.

The were winning prior to that 2-14 season because they had Peyton Manning at QB. Without a great QB they were 2-14 and Luck turned the Colts around overnight. I don't see much talent on that team Luck makes the Colts competitive.
