Jason Garrett needs to have a conversation with Scott Linhenan.

You have an obvious talent dificiency....No misdirection, nothing to get the defense on its heals- Are we allowed to run counters? Because I don't remember seeing one all game.

The kill kill stuff is obvious to the other team. Whatever side looks weak on the defense, Weeden is running to that side- the linebacker on the saints called it out at least 4 times- they knew exactly what we were doing.

If the stretch play inst working-run straight up the middle.

On defense, stop playing so soft against everyone. IT was beyond frustrating to see Brees dink and dunk his way down the field. I mean I knew on the 4th and 2 play that they converted what the play was going to be-yet it was an extremely easy conversion. We did an overload to one side blitz and we got a sack and then we didnt do it again? That makes no sense.

Start yelling at people please-especially Bisaccia as his unit is terrible. Yell at the rookies to know their assignments. Don't put Michael in the game when he hasnt played at all at the most important moment.

Tell Tyron Smith and Tyrone Crawford to start playing up to their contracts- call them out please. Do something to light a fire under them.

Oh and every player that dropped an INT please make them run or do something- Yell at a player and get pissed at them please I just want to see it one time.

This has nothing to do with Garret but Brandon Carr sucks

Since when did Garrett do that when was in absolute control of the offense? He has no clue.. The running game that was successful, the OL that was all world last year and disciplined, it was a product of Callahan...

You should see how the Commanders are controlling TOP this year with their RG this year.

So now Garrett should have had Lucky active and Michael inactive so Dunbar wouldn't have had to return kick offs? I guess for some who need to criticize a coach. There truly always a way.
Dunbar wasn't a starter. And every player is a valuable asset. And it would be beyond crazy to tell a return guy just to fair catch punts and kick offs. Talk about a strategy that would get a coach laughed out of the league!

bottom line is dunbar was probably the leader in offensive yards, so he should not be returning kicks or punts.
neither should beasely, another injury waiting to happen.

I was never a fan of JG, last year turned that around a bit, but now I'm coming around again to think of replacing him again. He doesn't have the eye of the tiger. All plans go to hell when the bullets start flying, some react well to this and other don't. JG doesn't...IMHO.

Garrett reminds me of a good politician: clapping, shaking the hands of players as they walk off the field, saying the superficially "right" things, motivational speeches, etc.

But as an Xs and Os guy and game day manager, i.e. the supervisor, it's like daddy, either through his connections or position, simply got him the job with a handshake or a wink and a nod. He's not a good balance of someone who opportunely invokes both positivism and fear, or "technical" savvy.

Wade is a smart guy though.. And he knows personnel as well.

He also told Jerry that somebody clearly needs to oversee Garrett, particularly the Running game. Since the departure of Callahan, we are moving backward to that dynamic of being out of sync again.

I mean we are dressing 4 RBs a game. If that isnt desperation, than what is. They think it's a matter of plugging the player, and Callahan is probably, when he gets a chance to watch, sitting watching the OL he built look like a mess up front now.

once again, you people are hilarious.
we needed ONE play from the defense yesterday. ONE. we never got it. that is why we lost.
Garrett "doesn't have the eye of the tiger." I mean, where do I start on that nonsense? You guys are great.

Just a couple weeks ago, Rod Marinelli was coaching this defense to greatness, all led under the great Jason Garrett. Now it's back to the defense's fault once again..

What exactly does Garrett do as a HC?

Tony Romo has almost single-handedly made Jason Garrett's career. Garrett has no business as a coach in this league, but he's had a great quarterback to cover up his lackluster gameplans and inept game management.

Yes, I know our team is decimated with injuries. But I truly believe a good coaching staff would have won last night's game, and some better second half adjustments would have given us a fighting chance against Atlanta. And if Garrett can only succeed with stacked personnel, what good is he really doing for us?

To do anything without Romo, we need our coaches to shake things up, put together strong gameplans, and adjust as necessary. I have no confidence they will do so.

Exactly he has ridden romo's coat tails.
But regardless he is our coach for the next 5 years, maybe longer.
Also I was thinking the other day that if jerry got rid of JG, he would not hire the coach you may want, he would just hire some other loser.
So might as well stick with JG.
Just look who Jerry hired in the past! switzer, chan, campo, too old parcells, wade, then JG.

I like to complain about JG but he may be the best we will get.
It may be time to hire another HC to help him out on some things though.

I am not disputing what you are saying as I am not the biggest fan however I do have to go against using the eye of the tiger song reference...just too cheesy, 80ish.

Can we say a line(s) from good old fashioned I am a bad arse blues songs...such as....

He does not have...

Tombstone hand and a graveyard mind

Well, I stand up next to a mountain
And I chop it down with the edge of my hand

Well, I'm the Crawlin' King Snake
And I rule my den

Well you know I'm the hoochie coochie man
Everybody knows I'm him

Boom boom boom boom
I'm gonna shoot you right down,
right offa your feet

I was born in a cross-fire hurricane
And I howled at my ma in the driving rain,

Bad luck wind been blowing at my back
I was born to bring trouble to wherever
I'm at Got the number thirteen tattooed on my neck
When the ink starts to itch, then the black will turn to red

This...

Garrett is putting his vanilla philosophies on fully display.

We look like a middle school team.

There are so many ways to keep an offense safe and conservative but still spread the ball around and keep the defense on their heels.

Dallas goes out there outmanned and just calls a game like we're just going to line up and beat people.

right like last year when we were 12-4.
90% of fan bases hate their coach.
100% hate them after a loss.
be better.

Garrett sucked last year as well.

Just because the Oline can impose their will on people didn't mean he was a good coach.

Just because Romo and Dez are 2 of the best players in the league doesn't mean we've designed an offense that is the most efficient for using their talent.
