The Case for Firing Jason Garrett and the coaching staff **merged**

If this "case" went to my grand jury it would never make it to trial.

Kind of like blaming the poor schmucks in the boiler rooms for the Titanic going down.

Not to nitpick, but that's a terrible analogy. It'd be more like blaming the captain who was in charge of the ship--in this case, Garrett. The players would be the 'poor schmucks' while the ships designers would be the Jerry/Stephen/McClay triumvirate

It sucks, you see teams with winning records takes risks, but our coach has no balls, so he kicks fgs down 20 points. I have no idea how this guy has any fans when he has done absolutely nothing to deserve it, but waste Romo's best years. He has a career coaching record of 44-39 as of right now, and if he loses out, then he'll be 44-44. Lol He is a joke

Is he safe no matter what? The only thing we can cling to at this point is that the team doesn't quit under Garrett. If they start to collapse (worse than what we have going now), does Garrett keep his job? What would it take for him to get fired this year?

If they quit on him next year then I think he'll be in trouble. Don't see anything that could get him fired this year.

Jerry's love, fascination and admiration for the Redheaded Genius is practically inpenetrable. However, if JG were to lose the team in the same manner that Wade Phillips did, he'd probably be just as much a goner as Wade was way back then (as depressing as that may, or may not be.) For those of us who might like that idea, you may smile a while . . . lol.

The only thing that would get JG fired this offseason would be, if he refused to continue being a puppet.

He is safe unless the team spirals into total chaos the rest of the way and we lose all 5 games badly.

Will Jerry eat that contract and then sign another head coach $$$?
