Even if it is, you cant be happy about the draft pick so far.

Considering last year was going to be a learning year and wasn't expected to see much if any playing time, I don't see why we can't be happy.

Wait, wait, wait....

So you're going to tell me if you draft a player who was injured a ton in college that he might be injured a lot in the NFL?

First Matt Johnson, now Chaz Green. We have the worst luck.

Good thing they weren't early draft picks. Oh, wait.

Don't forget guys like Jaylon Smith and Bruce Carter. That isn't bad luck. That is ineptitude. Don't worry, the wait 3 year crowd is going to come.

Its not bad luck. Its our front office ignoring very important facts about injury history and they keep using high drat picks on players thinking that the injury bug will suddenly disappear.

Bruce Carter wasn't really an injury problem after he got to the league. He missed some games when he was replaced by other players, but he's been fairly healthy. Probably not the best example.

If Green ends up with a pattern of injuries in the NFL, this would be an accurate criticism. But in this thread, we're overreacting to a player getting a cramp in a minicamp.

Why couldnt he show up as a rookie? Because he was a Cowboys draft pick? How long until you require a draft pick to show some promise? Maybe you like the fact that his injury issued in college are now showing up in the pros as well? Injury prone players are always fun arent they? Lots to be excited about.

He had a hip problem his first year. This was just a cramp in a practice. Lol you are ridiculous, is negativity really this powerful?

He' a contrarian. He loves taking the opposite view of things and arguing about them with the multitudes that think oppositely.

It gets him attention that he wouldn't get by debating on the side of the majority.

That is giving him the benefit of the doubt that he isn't just simply trolling or the fan of a rival team sewing discontent on a Dallas Cowboys message board.

Sometimes it sucks to be right. I never liked the pick to begin with. A tackle that played half the time and was injury prone. He was widely regarded as somewhere around a 5th round pick. This was the one pick last year that made very little sense. The one that people scratched their heads over. I heard much of the same thing from some posters as I am hearing from you now. Low and behold he got injured last year and it whipped out most of his rookie season. Then you see him limping around again this year in OTA's. It could be nothing. Or he could just be the horrible wasted 3rd round pick that some feared he would be.

Well, this was embarrassing. What do we do with the torches and pitchforks?

You use them! Never pass up an opportunity to rape, pillage and burn! Once you pull them out isn't it an unwritten rule that they can't be put away until someone PAYS the price?

Calling all cynics: let's all jump to conclusions and make premature assumptions about our players' worthiness.

I mean, c'mon . . . much too often, it really seems to be what we do best. It was just a cramp, for Christ's sake!

Here's a novel idea -- how's about we reserve our scathing criticisms for the times when we know the full story.

That would get in the way of an agenda .... and we can't have that!!

From here on out, any player with a cramp gets the pitchfork. I think that seems reasonable.
