Dude, he had the worst line in football with no passing threat in Oakland......most of his carries were him greeted in the backfield at the hand-off. I'm a hog fan, watched many of the games, I know. What's amazing is he's still able to walk, much less run.
EE had that deer in the headlights look most carries yesterday, let's really hope he comes around. If I were calling the shots Morris would start and get the bulk load while EE would see limited action here and there. Try to put him in the best situations to be successful. What they did was pig headed. It was apparent early on Morris was clearly the best option to winning.

You misunderstood my post. I actually agree with you. Totally agree. I like Dmac thought he played well for us last year given only 9-10 starts.

I was laughing at the ask McFadden what it's like! That comment was right on the mark. Last year opponents knew we had a terrible passing attack so the pressure was on McFadden to produce

Did Zeke show ANY of that ability yesterday, against a mediocre LB corps?

Silly me, I thought we drafted a game-breaker with the 4th overall pick. Not an average RB who only gets the yards that are handed to him by the OL.

It's just 1 game, but he was awful running the football yesterday.

The worst of the bunch comes at the 1:08 mark of the clip (2nd and 10). That's a Julius Jones run.

zeke is average. zeke is a rookie. zeke didnt run away from pursuit.

Several of those runs had huge holes outside the pile. A little patience and vision would've served well.

Zeke wasn't brought here to stink either and that's exactly what he did yesterday. He looked like a 35 year old back wearing blinders as he ran into piles all day. When we ran him wide he got taken down for losses. He showed no speed, quickness or vision. He was dreadful! He better start getting it together or Morris will be starting.

For as much attention as Terrance's blunder got yesterday (for good reason), Zeke's awful rushing debut was a much bigger deal.

Showed no vision or instincts whatsoever.

Lol, all I heard this offseason was how McFadden only got what was there, didn't have vision, et cetera, and that Elliott was gonna be a superstar.

I have faith in Ellioty that he's much better back than he showed, but I hope it's a lesson learned for all the Zeke fanboys out there.

Hard to run with no WRs able to consistently stretch the defense. That makes it hard to run against an 8 man front. Zeke gets a pass, for now.

Like @chicago JK said, Zeke may need to get into a groove so give him the rock on consecutive drives then bring in Morris for relief. I thought our offensive identity was going to be pound and ground then hit them with a big play to Dez or T-Will, but it turns out we don't have an identity. I hate that we let the Giants dictate what we did. We should have burned them deep for those 8 man fronts. I believe Dak can do it.

We don't really have the speed at receiver to threaten anyone deep. The only way we can go deep is to throw it up to Dez and hope that though he's well covered he can out-battle everyone.

This fan base is always so quick to turn on players. Not long ago Zeke was the golden boy. Now he's slow, doesn't have any vision and should be benched for Morris.

Elliott might be a great player but that's kind of the whole reason it's stupid to draft a RB at 4. For that to pan out, you basically need him to become Adrian Peterson. Anything less is a wasted pick.

RB is the only position in the NFL where you can literally pick a guy off the street to give you similar production as a top 5 pick.
