Cowboys did make offer for Sheldon Richardson

I wish they could've landed him, but I'm glad they didn't overpay. He's a FA next season, and now he knows the Cowboys have interest. Maybe Dallas will be his first stop.
Richardson with an improved Collins would be dynamic.

I wonder if Jerry had the same hand-rubbing level of rue that he experienced after the failed Paxton Lynch trade.

Man, that dude is a beast. He'd have walked in the best defensive lineman on the roster by a lot.

He would have been a great pick up.
If the team had aaron donald, lorenzo alexander, marcus peters, and von miller we would be unstoppable. Just 4 players. Only 4

Yeah and the Browns would be unstoppable if they only had Tom Brady, Rob Gronkowski, Luke Keuchley, and Richard Sherman.

(I know you were joking)

We need some folks to get healthy right now, now our weakness of the team has gotten even weaker.

I can see us making a move on him in the offseason. Young and is a threat to opposing offenses

we offered them a game-worn Willie Blade jock strap, but they wanted a Torrin Tucker highlight reel

Glad we didn't give up a 1st or a 2nd which is what I hear they were wanting

Fans make me laugh.

Richardson is a top shelf young starting lineman. If we got this same player in the 1st or 2nd round of next year's draft they'd be writing love letters to Will McClay.

But today. After we didn't make this trade. It's "Glad we didn't give up a 1st or 2nd."

Yeah. That would have sucked.

It's not just that they couldn't get a deal worked out for trade compensation, but that he wanted an extension as well. So trying to get an extension inked and trade compensation figured out just made it a complicated deal. And without an extension worked out, they risk bringing in both an unhappy player and one who may not even want an extension later.
