Now, if you said the Colts were 4-12 without Manning, then that would be correct. Colts won a Super Bowl with Manning, and sure as heck more than 2 wildcard playoff. They were a playoff team every year with Manning. Cowboys were not a playoff/Super Bowl team with our without Romo. Can you refute any of this or are you going to blindly ignore all these facts again? i am assuming it will be the latter.

Earl Morral won a Super Bowl as a back up with the exact same team as Bob Griese and Griese is in the HOF. That ends that.

What did you miss in 2015? We were 4-12 without Romo. So it's not bull*** and that was my point and that ends that.

In 2007 the Colts defense was ranked SECOND in the league and FIRST in points allowed led by an outstanding safety in Bob Sanders and edge rushers Robert Mathis and Dwight Freeney.

Go ahead and name me ONE year in Romo's career where we had a Top 20 defense combine with two great edge rushers and a great safety. As Percy, a statistical expert on this board has pointed out many times, in NFL history, no team has EVER won a SB with a bottom ten DPR. During Romo's career we averaged 27th.

So I didn't ignore it - In fact won every single point and I did it in a point by point basis with exact examples to what you asked and did it without saying--

Screw him good riddance which you are apparently one of four people on here who feel like that out of hundreds.

But again - go ahead and say that Romo sucked becuase he didn't win. Say he didn't do his job, he underachieved and it was all on him.

Him back to playing golf after years away to protect his back was a clear indication he was considering retirement. Naturally some took exception to my comment but it was a clear sign that retirement was in the back of his mind. Golf puts a strain on the back which has led to many back problems for PGA tour players including Tiger Woods.
 
I read he is going to replace Phil Simms on CBS? So 2 retired Cowboy QB's will part of the lead broadcast team on the top 2 networks Sunday's...good stuff. Hope it's true he's replacing Simms...
 
Of the four options--keep him, trade him, release him to sign with another team, or retirement, retirement was the last one I barely thought plausible, because it only would make sense if he truly isn't healthy... and I thought he was healthy.

So wait, he's worried about a sport he could injure his back in and is retiring to take up a sport in which he could injure his back.

Genius.
 
I remember when Bill Belichick was named the Jets' next permanent head coach after Parcells and he popped up in Foxboro as the Patriots head coach a short time afterwards.

Romo retires from the Cowboys. Then Dallas releases Romo. It would be too funny if Romo signs with another team in short order.

Many people including PGA tour players play golf with back issues. Fred Couples did it for many years but none of them were making millions playing QB in the NFL. With Romo not having to guard against injury due to retiring from football, he faces no risk playing golf. Missing a few rounds of golf due to a sore back isn't going to be an issue for him or cost him a lucrative career.
 
Not only is Romo going to CBS he will be the #1 crew covering the games. I don't think CBS would have offered that up if they were unsure about Romo coming to CBS

Yeah, its a game I've played since I was 6 or 7. He probably wanted to play but couldn't do it, not protecting himself, more of you just can't bend.

And yeah, the back is the most important part of your body in golf, totally true. If he took that much time off and still put up that number in a tournament, Romo is pretty good at golf.

When he played with Tiger, Tiger noted that Tony was a scratch golfer and was upset he was being given a handicap lol
