Let's hope he clears waivers for PS. He should . These Camp QB are usually over rated because we see more than we should in preseason .

Most likely, Rush will get waived, then re-signed to the practice squad.
Every team has a Cooper Rush that the fans are slobbering over. Teams aren't going to sign a young QB to their 53 and waste a spot on them.
But we'll see.
Lol... slobbering .Most likely, Rush will get waived, then re-signed to the practice squad.

This.Moore is more likely to clear waivers than Rush.
what scares me most, is that it actually took Romo and Moore to get hurt for the coaches to even realize what they had in Dak P............Yes we were. When Moore got hurt did we panic and sign a vet?
Well said indeed SIR !!!Well we were ready to go with a rookie as back-up last year before Romo got hurt, just saying.
Well said indeed SIR !!!
Well said SIR !!!Totally agreed. Why is the coaching staff and FO so afraid to jettison Moore and go with Rush as Dak's backup?
If this was 2016, and Rush was in Dak's place ... Rush would be our starting QB heading into the season. Why so afraid to move him to the backup spot? Moore has done nothing to prove that he can play in the NFL.
Cooper looked good, but I'm not sure if call him the real deal just yet. I'm still more intrigued with Green at LG. He's a mover, but just can't stay healthy at all. Not saying I don't like Cooper, I do, but he's still not the same player who came out of college. Yes the injury bug derailed a lot of that. But IMO if Green can overcome his injury issues I think he is the far superior player.
Poor comparisons. Both Mahomes and Wentz played against their opponents' 1s and 2s. Rush performed very well, but against 3s and 4s, and against defense's that weren't as set on stopping him as they were in evaluating their own talent.
Not saying they weren't trying to stop him, of course. Just saying that he needs to have some success against a higher level of competition before we hand him the backup spot.
As bad as KM has looked this preseason, he has still enjoyed some success in this league, against a starting level defense. If Dak goes down for 1-2 games, I'd still trust Moore to run this offense before I'd trust CR. Give him a year's experience - even on the PS - and I'd most likely choose Rush.
We have to keep both Moore and Rush.
If we cut Moore he will be signed by a NFCE rival. He knows so much about our offense and nuances that he is worth the roster spot for our rivals. His knowledge is invaluable.
I think Rush has little chance of clearing waivers. One of the rebuilding teams will take a chance and sign him as 3rd QB.
I am not optimistic that even if he clears waivers that we will get him on PS. If I were his agent, I'd advise him to go to a team with an unstable QB position - more likely to get an opportunity and 1st or even 2nd team reps than in Dallas Daks age and hold on the starting job coupled with the teams dedication to Moore (if they choose Moore over Rush) will deter young QBs from signing with Dallas.
Compared to what Moore gives us as the backup qb, Rush is the real deal. As in terms of upside and a development qb, Rush is a real deal.
