I would guess they are giving depositions merely as a result of a process put in motion by a civil action. I doubt any if these accomplished men did cartwheels into the deposition room.

The owner of the Ravens said an offer was made for a backup position and Kap wanted to start.

This is a league oriented around results. If Kap was producing, he would be playing. He was great when the Niners were loaded with talent, but something happened.

Here's my problem with the Vick comment. Vick did something which was clearly wrong, he served his time and in my opinion that made him eligible to work a job like any other citizen who does something illegal and serves their time for it. Kaep situation is different because he didn't do anything wrong. The only reason Vick was brought back was because of what he could do on the football field. I think it's safe to say that when Vick returned he was a better player than Kaep is today. Kaepernick just isn't good enough at this point to be a starter in the NFL. Does he have the talent and skills to be a backup on some team? Yes. Do teams want backup QB's to take any part of the spotlight from anyone else on the team? No. Kaepernick isn't in the NFL for the same reason that Tim Tebow isn't in the NFL. And at this point I'd say that Tebow showed more promise considering once Kaepernick fell off he looked done. Tebow was somewhat successful (even though it was in an unorthodox way) his last stint as a starting QB.

Bisciotti did no such thing to my knowledge and a quick google search indicates nothing either.

In fact, ESPN reported the exact opposite. Newsome and Harbaugh wanted him but Bisciotti didn't want to sign him. Ray Lewis claimed that they were close to signing him but then when Kaepernick's girlfriend fired off a what was viewed as a racist tweet, Bisciotti decided it wasn't worth it.

Of course I was not in the room, but I do remember reading it in several places. I do remember his agents disputing some elements of the report but I do remember Biscioti ( not sure of spelling) remarked that his expectations were not realistic as to his role.

i'd bet you $100 bucks and my account you can't find a reliable source showing that actually happened. That would've been brought up multiple times if he was ever offered a chance to join a team

Did he not Play out his deal in SF on the bench and then turn down an offer from SF? If he was productive he would be playing somewhere.
 
So what's next. Ray rice sues because he can prove that he was better than some 2nd and third string running backs. Or the giants kicker sues cause he thinks he's better than a couple of kickers.

How about that DE that came out as gay. He can sue cause he's better than Taco Charlton. Has better stats too I bet lol

he wasn't, to the contrary, if one is to believe Ray Lewis, an offer wasn't made because his girlfriend more or less called Lewis an Uncle Tom while he was visiting. I'm not 100% sure on the timing, but I'm fairly sure an offer was not made. But that could also be because it was obvious that their expectations were totally different.

this is also incorrect. he opted out of his contract but Lynch confirmed they would've cut him regardless. no need to agree to disagree. Show proof or just admit you were wrong.

How rich is the above post?

It boggles me that someone with absolutely zero access to him, no first-hand conversations to reference, et cetera, can somehow claim the Kap “doesn’t really understand what he’s fighting for.”

The hubris to do so is astonishing.

Secondly, to claim a guy that’s help lead a team to a Super Bowl appearance and coming off a season in which he threw 16 TDs/4 INT in part-time duty isn’t somehow qualified to even be a backup in the league.
