That dude totally omitted the three 8-8 seasons and avoided his 1-2 playoff record like it was ebola.

Cherry picking at its finest......LOL
If you continued reading you would see I addressed them. In case you missed it, I don't put a lot of stock in ANY coaches first 1-2 seasons. Same goes for players. Just like I like Dak but I didn't anoint him the next coming of Joe Montana like 90% of people here did last year. There are too many variables. If we judged everyone off the first few seasons few all tume great qb's, coaches, etc would never have een successful. It's also why I mentioned Jimmy Johnsons first two seasons were losers, Parcells was barely above .500.

I also went into detail about the playoff records.

That’s right Jerry, we can’t afford to lose a coach like Garrett, I mean, just look at all those playoff wins he has brought us!!!!!

Oh wait.....
that's right you act like there is other coaches that can do a better job. this guy built this team back up and you want to bring someone else in here who cannot and will not do better

They better not be foolish and fire this guy

In six full seasons as head coach Garrett has had 1 losing campaign.

So that’s the standard now?

Just don’t have a losing season and your good? I kinda judge a head coach off things like how many playoff games they win, especially after 7 years on the job.

Silly me, I forgot to lower my standards when Garrett took over.

Exactly
What other coach could possibly spout a bunch of cliches on his way to 8-8

Wait, I got it

Garrett is the red headed version of Herm Edwards

Here's a coach who had a horrendous owner and gm (sound familiar) and his first 5 seasons were

6-10
7-9
7-9
11-5
5-11

Goes by the name Bill Belichik. I understand not all the circumstances are the same but there's a reason why every coach that comes through here may have a good season or two but ultimately they're a flash in the pan and that's due to a bad owner and/or GM. In our case it happens to be both. Same with the Jets, Bills, etc. You've got to cut the head off the snake which is Jerry. Every now and then Jerry may catch lightning in a bottle but ultimately he has no idea how to build a team.
