So, about those Angels...

Trying my hardest not to get sucked in the hype. TRYING.

If the bullpen and starting pitching holds up (bullpen was one of the best last year, tho a perceived weakness coming into '18)

TRYING.

Mike Trout is waking up (and Harper is cooling off! Woot!)

TRYING.

Ohtani is deadly so far. Hitting tough pitches like 97 in on the hands for a triple, right after Pedro Martinez said he couldn't do it

TRYING. Nothing to see here! Not gonna get caught up in it!

The are only starting him every 6 days and he only DHs 3 times a week
Yup. Pitches Sundays. Off the day before and after. Angels sat him Tuesday and a lot of fans didn't like it. Shohei didn't like it, either :) He wants to play more.

As the season goes forward, goes deeper, we may see him get that Tuesday, as well as hit on days he pitches in interleague, obviously. Interleague is gonna be fun with him, he will be used as a pinch hitter, as we was last Tuesday. It'd be awesome to see him go from pinch hitter to RF, say (highly unlikely to happen)

The Angles have been playing out of their minds...

Their offense has been at a ridiculous level... Probably some big-time regression on the way.

Wilmer with the walk-off. Nimmo hits a homer. I was not sure about this kid but I think he is going to be a pretty good ball player. Go Mets. Gonna get me some salt and pepper shakers

Its apparent the gal below has never cooked.

these DNA specific performance enhancers that aren't detectable on current tests these days are amazing. no wonder they've flooded all sports.

Welp, the Mets are coming back down to earth after the hot start. The BA's are plummeting and the bullpen is overworked now. We are gonna need better pitching than this if they want to hold the fort :(

Rumor has it the 'Stros bullpen is struuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugling! Could this be true?! o_O

What's Boston's record?:lmao:

Houston's biggest problem is the hitting or lack there of.

A couple gaffes from the bullpen but it has been a train wreck.

I would expect Boston will regress to the mean... They have a good team, but they're due for a let-down.
