If you never played you have no idea. You can run no huddle, spike, call timeouts, audible, call certain plays to either get a first down to seal victory or route trees that are close to the sideline. It's a simulation, the clock, time and rules are exactly the same. JG sucks.

I watch other games and go wth is that coach doing. But I don't watch every game like I do a cowboys game. In terms of sideline coaching I would rate JG bottom 10.

The bigger problem in losing Travis is Zack is already hurting. The possibility of losing or at least not having 2/3 of our Pro Bowl talent is a concern. And that’s assuming Tyron stays healthy all season.

I agree. I was speaking on just losing Frederick at a time where the regular season has not yet started and the staff can somewhat adjust. Martin should start week 1 and of course losing an all-pro center is detrimental to any team. Smith has had health issues as well. If Martin and Smith have not been advised by multiple sources (Specialists) to have some sort of surgery at this point in time then it is best to have them condition rather than compete until week 1. In regards to Martins case and given his new contract (which may have included compensated medical treatment outside of the organization in the contract) the time to find the Doctor who can get him in the system so they can begin to monitor parts of the body that are prone to injure on Martin.

You are telling me that you can't use simulations to practice a certain situation and that is false. More information on what that JG lost us the playoffs in 16 by calling the spike with almost a minute left with a timeout to spare. Never thinks ahead. Always leaves too much time on the clock at the end of halves or games when it matters most. I don't watch every snap of other team's games. I can say JG is not good at those situations. So far you’ve only provided me an evaluation of Garrett in your simulation comparison.

There has to be other HC’s you’ve watched who you could offer an evaluation of in similar fashion ?

I haven’t played Madden. I’m not qualified to present any comparisons.

Frederick is a huge loss. His loss effect's the entire line. That's the reality.

It just can not be an excuse for the coaches though if the wheels fall off.

They will have had a few weeks to prepare for this and 1 hole in the boat that isn't the QB shouldn't sink the boat.

If Dallas fails this year then Jason Garrett just can not escape because of this 1 injury.

We can not have a coach that makes his team so fragile that the whole thing falls apart with an injury.

The offense has suffered three big hits the loss of Frederick, Dez and Witten. Going to be hard to overcome losing that kind of talent. Not saying it can’t be done but it’s going to be difficult.

You're assuming the team strategy is to go "all in" because they think they've got a shot this year. Judging by their weak free agency actions and willingness to start an undeveloped rookie at left guard I think they plan on developing all their young guys this season and continue their slow build of a young team from the roots up. "Let the chips fall where they may" as it were,,, as a fan needing immediate gratification I don't like it, but I can see the reasoning in it.

I think that the main reason Garrett decided to keep Dak as the starter in 2016 was that it bought him more time.

I can guarantee you that if Garrett had to deliver a playoff win this season , he would have brought in a veteran QB like Bridgewater just in case.
