He was definitely practicing with the team when he came back. There were reports about how the first team offense was coming over to watch Romo move the scout team against our first team defense and making them look bad. He also said he was feeling better than he had in years once he came back. He was fully healthy and they went with Dak rather than let him compete, it was reported in plenty of places.

Romo was never fully healthy. He had a bad back. Your bad back doesn't just get better lol. I think you are not remembering how this all played out lol.

He had 69 yards on 15 carries. He had a long of 17. Let's not pretend he wasn't able to get to the line of scrimmage.

Okay he was getting 2 yards past the line of scrimmage. I'm not mad at Zeke. I understand that his blocking failed him today. Not his fault.

OL was terrible. No running lanes for Zek and Dak was sacked 6 times. He was throwing short most of the time because that’s all he had time to do. Dak was not very good, but the O line was way worse.
But not being a real threat to throw down field allows defenses to stack and pressure the line of scrimmage.

I remember it perfectly well. It's all documented, feel free to look it up if you need a refresher.
I need a refresher but you don't even remember how bad his body was broken down lol? Oh wait....you just don't care lol. Let Romo live in piece. We got 2 playoff wins with him and I'm sure someday we will get 2 playoff wins without him lol.

That's false he can throw them. They didn't call deep passes with Weeden, Cassell, Sanchez or Moore and those guys, especially Weeden can throw deep . It's a play calling thing. Only time offense was different is Romo and that's because he ran what he wanted
I think it's hard to argue that given that Garret comes from the Norv Turner offense and Linehan had Stafford throwing for 5000 yards. If they aren't calling them it's because our QB's can't throw them.

That is so far from the truth. Linehan is calling Garrett's playbook, also Linehan went 0-16 so that should tell you something. Not only that but he has a Megatron...... Where is our Megatron

Dez was not Megatron, but he was better than a 50% completion rate. His game is to the outside and that is Dak's weakness.

No reason to keep Dez if we can't get the ball to him, but we need some way to keep defenses from clogging the middle of the field or things are going to continue to look like they have the last 7 games.

Dez and Dak just never developed chemistry for whatever reason so I agree with you there. But Garrett and Linehan could do things to get Dez involved and any other receiver but their offense is predictable and not creative at all.

It's not "for whatever reason". I have seen no evidence that Dak can throw to the outside unless it's just a deep go route. Without the threat on the outside all the windows to the inside got tighter too.

I don't think you are remembering the one series he played all year where he took the team into the end zone and made it look easy.

But Dak has thrown all the passes you can want. He also can throw into tight windows.

Show me the last time a WR had to keep his feet in bounds catching a ball at the sideline? It would have happened today on that 4th down play, but Dak missed high. You just don't see him try those throws. I'm not sure you'll find 5 of those throws all last year unless it is a fade in the end zone.

Williams is best on the team at that and Butler had a few ones last year. I agree with the 4th down pass being a tad high, no debate from me there but that isn't proof he throws like that every play or can't make those throws

I'd be happy to be shown I'm mistaken but I spent 3/4 of last season looking for those throws in particular and we just didn't have them. If defenses are clogging the middle then they should be open, so at some point that has to come on Dak.

Really, we should all be Dak supporters. If we can't support our starting QB that's pretty sad. I don't have any faith in him, but I still support him. It's not his fault the coaches are morons and replaced Romo with Dak. And it's not his fault that he's not very good at throwing a football with consistent accuracy. But I support him and hope he makes our idiot coach look good by throwing consistently more accurate balls.
We all support Dak and the Cowboys when the game is being played..we are Cowboy fans but after the game alot of us are able to come in here and express our opinions about Dak, the team, what we think of them, how they played and whether or not we think they are the answer. I don't think Dak is the answer at QB for us and have stated that on many occasions but i watched the game today rooting for him and the team to win...because i am a Cowboys fan

Perhaps you should watch more because Dak hit passes all the first half of the season and has a few games at the end of the season after the 3 straight losses. So it can't be 3/4 of the season

It’s one game...

But it’s disheartening to see the same problems, poor footwork, not feeling the pressure, inaccuracy, and hanging onto the ball too long.

Exactly, and Dak looked just as troubled as he did against Denver and Atlanta. Not a good start. 15 more games to go though.
