Problem with that is he’s shell-shocked when getting decent blocking. And it’s actually the OL under tremendous pressure because of his garbage play, not the other way around. Defenses have no respect for his arm.
When a Qb is shell shocked he starts to look at the rush first instead of his progressions and its a cascade effect, he then has to read faster and misses things and then misses his "timing marks" to get a pass on time to receivers.

I think he can be accurate but he needs everything to be perfect, which of course is hardly the case in the NFL. Part of the issue is his mechanics he cannot duplicate his throwing motion from play to play. He tries to adjust and I think that is why his pass are all over the place. He will throw low on say an out but then goes out and throws high on another out.

Big upzzz...to all my haters.

Ok Troy summed it up perfectly.

Hard to be accurate when you are in constant duress. I would agree more with the Dak haters if I felt the guy was being given the opportunity to succeed. The reality is that this organization has failed him.

I think Moore was Linehan. I think they (Garrett and Linehan) sold Jerruh on the fact that Dak and Moore were like best buds on the sidelines.

And another reason why this franchise desperately needs a real GM. I don't think a GM worth his salt given the situation where their young QB needed serious work would have allowed them to hire a QB coach with no experience at all in developing a QB.
But understandable as the same guy that didn't give him many weapons. Not saying that is the problem but that surely doesn't help when your QB isn't a WR maker like Brady, Brees and Rodgers.

Give him a rookie coach, a questionable assortment of receivers, this coaching staff and watch him blossom.

Read my sig

Please define clean pocket.

Dak also is ranked top five in time holding onto the ball, meaning he’s creating a dirty pocket over what constitutes a clean pocket.

Not sure throwing checkdowns from a clean pocket should be a mark of praise, especially considering he’s an NFL QB and should be able to dink and dunk accurately from a clean pocket.

That’s about as close as you are going to get to hearing Aikman write a guy off, especially someone who plays for Dallas.
Yep, people blast former players for being middle of the road when they are part of the media. Like they have a choice. They try to be impartial & fair without being critical (if possible) because that is their job. Aikman played nice for as long as he could but you know it tears him up to watch such ineptitude after what he was a part of here.

I suspect Stephen's comments the other day were the last straw. Now its just Troy dropping the truth & letting the eyes of the world judge its merit. Will be curious if Tony will drop any truth concerning the coaching staff.

Sad that JJ doesn't just call up some of these guys & ask them their opinions privately. I suspect his respect for their unbridled assessment would push this train down it's inevitable track at a much more brisk clip.

He’s under constant duress, because no defense respects his arm and he holds onto the ball longer than pretty much every QB in the league, meaning he’s getting more than enough time and he’d be getting more if he could read defenses pre-snap, because defenses would back off..

Because the Jones are an arrogant bunch. They have such resources at their disposal in guys like Aikman and Romo and others who they could call, get insights, talk to Dak, etc.

But seemingly they don't use those resources. Why? Because they are the Jones boys ******* it and they know football!!!!! It's almost like they are scared to death to get outside help because it somehow would taint their reputation if they did win something of note....... that oh, well, it was Troy Aikman's assessment of the QBs that won them the NFC Title that year, not the Jones.

It's downright bizarre how their minds work. And also immediately makes me question if they really, truly, want to win. When they say they'd do anything to win, I think that's total BS.
