I was one of 79 current votes. He should have caught the pass but it was still a poor pass. Was a great call, well executed play fake to zeke and Olewale was wide open....so why does Dak throw right closer to a defender than to his own guy?

There is where we separate the Dak critics from the Dak haters. If you say, Dak had a rough day and has to improve, but that drop was on Olawale, then I would consider you a rational Dak critic.

If you see that and think that was Dak's fault, you are a Dak hater and probably highly irrational.
I think this is a very fair statement

Prescott's throw was imperfect but very, very catchable.
Anyone arguing that was a touch catch is insane.

Olawale literally just had to move his hands. He whiffed as if he was staring into the sun.

As much of a Dak critic as I am, that one wasn't on him. The WR should have caught it - it was totally catchable. That being said, Prescott should have lofted it a bit higher and further.

How do you create polls? This is a cool thread. I like it

Poll creation is a cool benefit of being a Zone Supporter! Just click the yellow Donate above, give a little (you decide how much) and PRESTO! You can create polls too! Like:

POLL: Why Is DallasEast A Prescott Hater?

A: He hates the number 4
B: He is so overly critical/that explains why he never litters game threads with anti-Prescott dogma
C: He is more sexy than @BrAinPaiNt which has nothing to do with Prescott either but whatever
D: He finally found a new player to target after all these post-Terrell Owens years/ @Bleu Star lol'd

Just saying. Retrospectively on 4th down could have ran the exact same play with 3 options of FB, TE or QB run.
Exactly that's how play calling is supposed to work , teams have seen this formation and a pass to the FB , now run a variation next time with options included. They need something to change in the Red Zone , some creativity. Next time this play is run a DC worth anything will have the FB covered.

Poor pass and even poorer catch. What can I say:thumbdown:

REAL easy throw to make. He wasn't standing still...he was running left to right (QB view). Just throw it out there and lead him like kids playing in a backyard.
Still, he for sure should've caught that ball, regardless of his momentum.

People who don't know football - "Dak supporters - "greatest pass in NFL history dropped by scrub FB."
You guys are hilarious. It wasn't the greatest pass in the world but it was most definitely catchable and expected to be caught by 99.9 percent of NFL players that make their livings catching passes.

The fundamental problem there was they tried to get cute & designed a play for a guy that hadn't caught 3 passes all season long.

we did and lost 3 yards....
I went with #2 but that option should have also included not having Olawale even on the field. Insert any other play in that spot except him
so the option is never use him....if the play worked, all would be here and talk about when we finally started to find the end zone in the redzone and do some clever play designs, etc. but the execution was bad. on Dak and Olawale.

it was a good call. they weren't prepared for that and he was wide open....execution sucked. and when should they use Olawale? is there a time to screw up a play execution that's not important....it was a simple pitch and catch they couldn't execute.....the coaches put them in a position to succeed. both would get my booth up their rear when they came to the sideline. Dak and Olawale
