How long do I have to answer this?So would you rather have an athletic quarterback who never wins a Super Bowl or a limited athletic quarterback who is hard working, determined and competitive and wins Super Bowls?
You can't explain to the Dakkettes. In their minds, Dak is wwwwaaayyyy more accurate than Troy Aikman. It's the height of absurdity, but when you MUST convince yourself of the Dakkuracy, well, this is the nonsensical, illogical position you're forced to take.
That is a red herringProblem is, where it counts, Troy has them all beat. All of those guys were way more athletic but none of them could do what Troy did. None of them won any championships and that's the rub.
Numbers don't lie...... only youYou can't explain to the Dakkettes. In their minds, Dak is wwwwaaayyyy more accurate than Troy Aikman. It's the height of absurdity, but when you MUST convince yourself of the Dakkuracy, well, this is the nonsensical, illogical position you're forced to take.
Brady is an overachieving system QB that has milked the absolute most out of his limited athletic ability..... more than any QB ever with hard work and pure determination and competitive spirit
That is a red herring
Remember the PHL game with the 11 sacks? The only reason it topped off at 11 was because that one damaged his shoulder with a body slam. Could have reached the high teens.Well, to be fair, I'm not certain how old Nightman is or if he was a Cowboy Fan, watching the games back when Troy was a Rookie. I mean, if you didn't actually see that team, it's hard to understand just how bad it was. They were terrible. You look at the numbers and you say to yourself, I don't get it. Dak's numbers compare very favorably but what you can't understand, unless you were watching is how much better this team is then that one in 89. Also, just how different the game was. Passing game then was for real. You didn't do the same stuff then as now. You didn't run the same routes and you didn't have the relative freedom to just not worry about getting hit. In those days, WRs just didn't run certain routes and QBs, they got hit on every play and not just pushed to the ground like you see today. They got hit.
It's just different now. I honestly hate comparing players from different eras. It's not fair to the players.
those are all cop outs..... Troy was never that great ...... he was on a great team that was led by Emmitt's running and a great DWell, to be fair, I'm not certain how old Nightman is or if he was a Cowboy Fan, watching the games back when Troy was a Rookie. I have watched more Cowboys than you have I'm sure.... I am just honest about the 90sOK, I'm listening. But before we go any further, are old enough to have watched Troy Aikman play in his Rookie year?
Did you seriously just write that Dak is more accurate than Aikman while laughing at the proposition that he isn't?HAHAHAHAHAHA
Dak is wayyyy more accurate....................66% to 61%
By a long shot.....open your eyesDid you seriously just write that Dak is more accurate than Aikman while laughing at the proposition that he isn't?

Simple math is hard for you I seeLol.
Good luck with that.
Lol
LMAO"IT IS BALLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!!!"
You don't have to answer anything. You can do as Dionne Warwick said, "Walk on by."How long do I have to answer this?
I see Michael Irvin, H Walker, Kelvin MartinTotally agree. Another factor is that Dallas was constantly churning the roster to evaluate guys on the fly. If you google the roster for the 1989 team you will names like Bernard Ford and Junior Tautalatasi that not only were scrubs, they were scrubs that didn't know the playbook when they were on the field.
Don't patronize meOK, I'm listening. But before we go any further, are old enough to have watched Troy Aikman play in his Rookie year?

And some need to remember, Jimmy didn't even want to win that 1 game, he was after picks.
