it doesn't matter. you were wrong. dallas was up to that point....anything before didn't matter. so now you are trying to change the narrative.....

the ball was given to him on the 18, well on the way to another TD and fantastic drive and up by 1.....end of story.

so trying to recreate a false history and then spinning your way out of it...doesn't work....
I can only explain football to you. I can't understand for you.

Had our OL been healthy I think Dalton could have gotten the job done here. His biggest issue in Cincy the past few years was their disaster of an OL much like what he’s going to have to deal with here

That's why Dalton was benched in CIN.

you also need to figure in, the Bengals organization was tanking for Burrow, AJ Green was hurt and no real WR to throw to.....tough situation for all.... The Bengals were trying to run Dalton off to get that first pick.

Dalton needs to be a game manager not try to be like DAK

don't count your chickens yet.

the long pass to gallup was all gallup as the ball was severley under thrown and gallup looked like a gymnast contorting to make the catch....I can imagine what you would say if Dak made that throw...

he also got lucky with a pick 6, as the ball went right throw the giant defenders hands....

Fyi that is often the case with long passes. The receivers often have to be able to adjust to where the ball is going. Gallop clearly was able to adjust and he caught them in traffic while staying in bounds. Were still great throws.

Those two on-the-money strikes to Gallup in the 4th quarter when thrown into sudden action looked very promising. That over the shoulder to Gallup down the sideline had almost no room for error and Dalton threaded the needle.

Now the fumbled snap, sack, and near interception were disappointing.

But he did lead the game-winning drive in the 4th quarter to seal the game.

I think dalton wanted out of Cin, and can you blame him? He lives here , grew up here, and is way more happy here, and probably
is a bigger cowboy fan than a Cin fan.
HIs numbers at cin dont matter, only his numbers here.
HE will need a few games to get back to playing form, I thought he did great coming off the bench last game.
I want to see how he plays next 2 games, but the eagle game should be a real test.

Why do you argue? Its on the books he got a Comeback and a Game Winning Drive. You said he didn't.
Nobody is spinning anything (maybe you are). But its a fact. He got a Comeback and a Game Winning Drive for the win over the Giants.
I am not arguing. I merely stated facts that were omitted earlier...

feeling is mutual, although I am a teacher at heart and would be willing to at least try and teach you the basics...you actually might enjoy football more that way

your choice to stay ignorant or not

There is no pressure to win. Hasn't been for some time. There is also no penalty for not winning.
Considering the downward spiral that the Cowboys are in, Dalton shouldn’t have any pressure. The wannabe $40 million a year QB has not been pressured in any way, so why should Dalton be pressured? Dalton can put up great stats and lose games which is acceptable with the team and the fans.

That’s the hope. Hopefully better ball security and less picks will benefit the defense as well.
Lol Dak td to interception ratio was basically 3:1z Daltons isn’t even 2:1. And he put the ball
On the ground at a similar rate to Dak. I hope Dalton balls for us but ppl are delusional about theses call upgrades Dalton has over Dak. Dalton got worst as the season progressed. His best month is September followed by October . He’s below average in November and December And downright terrible in January(playoffs). The false narrative the media tried to put on Romo about him being bad the last two months of the season is exactly the story for Dalton. I hope he turns it around in Dallas

yep, as long as he gets some impressive stats, losses are okay.

the only thing i care about is what Dalton does as a DC

so far 9/11 111 yards and made some big plays to help line up the GW FG COLD off the bench

so not bad

we have 11 more to actually judge him by not what he did as a Bengal..

i do know this hes better then weden, cassel , and RUSH..remember him lol

This season wasn’t likely going anywhere anyway. Now the coaching staff and front office basically get a get out jail free card with Dak out for the season.
The only place that this team was going is down and it was going that way before Dak got injured. Poor coaching, poor effort , poor execution, etc, is killing the team.

My fear is that we were all pretty comfortable that Weeden was going to be okay after he came in for Romo in Philly and closed out that game 7 for 7 for 73 yards and a TD. Then after teams got all week to prepare for him they exposed all of his warts.

L'il Kyler is coming back to Texas on MNF after being the most overlooked QB in my recollection and he gets America's Team. This is his coming out party for America.

I think he's probably tired of all the Mahomes, Jackson, Watson, Burrow and Herbert talk. He's the reigning Offensive Rookie of the Year and this past week's NFC O Player of the Week. I think he and his HC are coming to make a statement. He's like a mini Russell Wilson who himself is already a mini. He's a slippery character with a fine arm to boot.

Ex OU Heisman QB's are already 1-0 against the Cowboys this season.

Exactly -- I have no doubts but what we're the underdogs in this contest. I'm well familiar with Kyler and don't doubt that we're in for a helluva problem to contain this mini-might. He's a slippery runner with a good arm to boot.

Our defense is likely in for all they can handle and then some to contain him in any way they can. We'll likely have to outscore them to have any chance of obtaining a win. This defense will see some things that will test them to the core.

This surely means Andy will have his hands full to keep up with them. Somehow, the oddsmakers see this as Arizona being a 2.5 point favorite. I'm honestly surprised it isn't more than that. Let's cross our fingers and simply hope for the best. ;)

actually we had nice big lead one game i believe in ATL when the defense just forgot to show up and we lost.. weeden was the qb got us to big lead...
im not worried..I believe dalton was a better layer before he became backup then weeden was, so he should be better suited for us now..
